As Yayoi and Eiko patrolled the house on a different floor, Saki was smiling smugly and patting her stomach.
The smooth, flat stomach that just so happened to contain the finger bone that was the keystone behind the curse!
Yes, that's right- Saki had swallowed the finger bone! Being a ghost like her who could still interact with physical objects meant that she could touch the bone... but being dead meant that she was powered purely by spirit energy- her body had no need for earthly sustenance!
In other words, there was no acid in her stomach, and her stomach wouldn't digest the bone! As odd as it was, it made her stomach the perfect place to stow that bone away so that those two ghost hunters couldn't find it!
"Heh... Heh... This way... They'll never break... the curse!" Saki chuckled, stroking her stomach. She could almost imagine it- Eiko's belly growing larger and larger, until the ten days were up... and Angel was born!

1) Unable to find the curse's cause, Eiko and Yayoi leave... And return the next day with Keitarou! There's no way he's going to leave them alone now that Eiko's in such serious danger! And maybe having an extra person with them will help!
2) Saki sneaks up on Eiko, and separates her from Yayoi! But what is she planning on doing?
3) Uh... Saki feels something strange in her belly!
