Shizuka's rumbling tummy made itself known with a soft grumble. Shizuka winced- she'd skipped breakfast this morning, and was really regretting it now.
One couldn't easily avoid hordes of undead on an empty stomach, car or not.
Slowing her car's pace, Shizuka scanned the city around them as she drove. By some stretch of luck, there weren't any zombies around... though they may have just been lurking out of sight...
No, she couldn't afford to think like that! Komuro-kun was relying on her to protect him, and right now Shizuka had only one goal- getting back to her and Rika's apartment! It had big, strong walls, was well-stocked with food and water- Rika was a bit of a nut when it came to making survival preparations- and best of all... it was close by!
Well, close by in the relative sense. Her apartment was still a good half hour drive away, and Shizuka had no idea whether or not she'd be able to make it there without running into more undead.
*Grrrooo*
Wincing, she put another hand on her hungry stomach.
She definitely wouldn't last long enough to make it home like this! She needed food!
Fortunately, by some stroke of luck, Shizuka just happened to be passing by a gas station/convenience store combination (not the one that Rei and Takashi go to in canon.)
This was as good a place as any. Shizuka couldn't see any signs of zombies around, but... well there could very well be some inside. Her face paled at the memory of how she'd only just escaped with her life from the school, only thanks to the fact that she'd been protected by some very tough students.
And right now? She was on her own.
No- she wasn't just on her own. She was the one who'd been given the role of the protector this time!
Poor Komuro-kun had showed no signs of growing bigger, and had remained at the same size he was when she'd picked him up off the ground. The tiny student was still nestled protectively between her huge boobs, and Shizuka... Shizuka felt a strange surge of emotion within her. Anxiety- the fear that she might fail to protect someone who had nobody but her to rely on... as well as rush of maternal empathy for the boy who was small enough to fit into her cleavage...
She wouldn't fail him! She'd get him to safety, and she'd get herself to safety as well! She could do this! She just had to be strong!
Still feeling nervous, but no longer shaking in fear, Shizuka parked the car in front of the convenience store.
Upon getting out of her car...
1) Shizuka takes Takashi out of her cleavage, leaving him on the seat for when she gets back.
2) Shizuka shoves Takashi in even deeper into her cleavage, before buttoning her blouse up to completely hide him from view! It isn't much, but this is the best she can do for now to 'protect' him. She enters the convenience store.
3) The same as option 2, but Shizuka sees a discarded pipe wrench on the ground, left behind by someone.
