"N-no!" Shizuka whimpered at the sight of the bus leaving. Saeko had taken the keys from her to get it started, due to being much lighter on her feet than the nurse was. And poor Shizuka had taken too long- the bus was already pulling away!
"Marikawa-sensei! Please, don't stop! You'll be fine as long as you get out of the schoolyard!
Or at least, that's what Takashi hoped. It was true that most of the zombies were milling around the yard... in fact, they seemed to be totally focused on the bus and how much noise it was making!
"*Sniff*... *Sniff*... They left me behind..." Shizuka whimpered, wiping at her eyes with her hands- forgetting that she was holding Takashi in one hand.
"A-ack! Marikawa-sensei! Get a hold of yourself!"
"K-Komuro-san?"
"Look, Marikawa-sensei- all the zombies are following the bus! If you run away now, going the opposite direction, there won't be any zombies ahead of you!" Shizuka's eyes widened at Takashi's words, and she did just that. The big, busty blonde wasn't particularly fast, more so with the bag of medical supplies she'd taken from the nurse's office slung over her shoulder.
Her car was on the opposite side of the parking lot where the bus had been, and so Shizuka was able to make it to her car- a little thing that would've only fit two people comfortably- and dropped the back of medical supplies down on the seat next to her.
Starting up the car right away, Shizuka pulled it out of the now mostly empty schoolyard and drove off.
"Marikawa-sensei..."
"Huh?" Shizuka's brown eyes widened in confusion at the sound of Takashi's muffled voice. Looking down...
"Eep! I'm so sorry, Komuro-kun!" Shizuka realized she'd had a death grip on the steering wheel of her car with both hands- forgetting that poor Takashi was getting the life squeezed out of him!
"Shizuka slowed the car to a stop, looking around the car. No, she couldn't put Takashi on the dashboard, he'd slide around and get hurt. If she put him on the seat or anywhere else he might get knocked off, or worse, squished by the bag of medical supplies.

Just then, she had an idea! Down in her hands, Takashi looked on in confusion as he practically saw a light-bulb appearing over the nurse's head.
