"Almost there." Ayala said as Kaede and Setsuna walked along with them.
Wearing oversized clothes as they struggled to accompany Ayaka.
"I hope Konoka is okay." Setsuna said worriedly.
"Don't worry! I'm sure she's fine! Probably one of our classmates found her and on their way here." Kaede said.
"Yeah, I hope so." Setsuna said as she smiled.
"I don't know how will I explain that Anya and Konoka are inside of me." Ayaka thought.
As they reached the end of the bridge, they were met by a few males with a line female.
"It's you!" Setsuna, Kaede and Ayaka said in unison.
"Oh how I'm popular! But since you two are already affected. I'm sure you could tell me where Anya and Konoka are? I'll give you an antidote if you do." Said the woman whom Ayaka knew as master.
"Like heck we would!" Setsuna yelled she had a makeshift sword. Kaede had her kunai ready.
"Weird, How could they not know that Anya and Konoka are in me?!?" Ayaka thought worriedly as she rubbed her belly. She could feel them move inside.
"You have no escape. You are surrounded." Said one of the underling. They began to brandish swords while others had their hands out to cast a spell.
"Ayaka!" Kaede whispered. Ayaka looked at Kaede.
"There's a hidden passage below the bridge. There should be a maintenance door right over there." Kaede whispered to Setsuna and Ayaka.
Ayaka could see the maintenance door which was nearby.
"The moment I use a smoke bomb, make a mad dash to the door." Kaede said about her plan as the two nodded in agreement.
"So? Are you ready to surrender? You'd make great demons!" Said the woman.
"No thanks!" Setsuna yelled.
"Not interested!" Kaede answered.
"Ugh! Being a demon is so not me!" Ayala said mockingly.
"Well so be it!" The woman said as she laughed arrogantly.
"Here we go!" Kaede yelled as she threw a thick smoke bomb as the entire area was covered in smoke!
The demons were blinded by the smoke as the three made their way towards the maintenance door and went into it. There, there was a maintenance bridge that they ran across. They could hear the woman bark orders as they soon saw the men running after them while others were firing spells at them.
"How do we get back to the school?" Setsuna asked as they were dodging fireballs.
"If I remember right. There should be a water reservoir that leads straight into the school. It should open soon." Ayaka said.
"It should open soon so we should hurry!" Kaede said.
They reached the end of the trailer with their backs at the gorge. The demons with swords as the woman came in mockingly.
"You have no chance! Surrender now or die!" Said the woman.
They knew they would be interrogated and they would also find out that Ayaka had Konoka and Anya inside of her. Just as hope was gone, there was the sound of gears moving as there was also the sound of groaning metal as the doors to the reservoir were opening up. They only had a brief moment as the doors would soon close afterwards after letting a specific amount of water in.
"Now's our chance! Ayaka yelled as she grabbed Setsuna and Kaede and jumped into the water below as it was being sucked.
Kaede and Setsuna screaming as they disappeared into the water as it was being suck into the reservoir. They gates soon closed leaving the demons dumbfounded. They went back to the city as they couldn't get into the academy due to the barrier.
It was a frantic few seconds as they were being swept into the reservoir of the school. It soon began to calm down. As Ayaka floated, she kept her head above water but lost grip of Kaede and Setsuna. Ayaka swims to the base of the reservoir which had a foothold that would allow the caretaker who was on vacation at the moment do his maintenance.
"*Groan" I can't believe we did that!" Ayaka said in disbelief of her actions. "At least we got away from them."
Ayaka sighed as she found the edge...
