It felt almost like Simon had been hit over the head as he awoke. There was a slow but dissipating throbbing in his head as he awoke, feeling the environment around him. The walls seemed tight and enclosed, almost like a tunnel, but a bit wider than the ones he used to dig.
"W... what happened?" Simon muttered. "That tea had one heck of a kick."
The tunnel appeared odd, not large enough to completely enclose him. Was he at the top? How did he get into it? Did someone move him while he was unconscious from the tea?
Whatever it was, Simon wasn't content to simply ponder it, he had to find out what was happening. The fact it was something relevant for him to do also helped to motivate Simon as he climbed out of the hole, dropping off a small wall. It wasn't a tunnel, that was for sure, more along the lines of an enclosure, or a structure. He examined the enclosure for a few moments before he realized what it was.
A shoe.
His shoe.
In fact, alongside his shoe were most of his clothes, now far too large for him to fit in. The shock and horror of being naked was soon compounded by the shock and horror of the fact that he had shrunk to mere inches in height. He had to do something!
For starters, he grabbed a small piece of fabric from his shirt and ripped it off, making an impromptu pair of undergarments. It wasn't perfect, but it allowed him to digest the situation more thoroughly.
And the situation, for all intents and purposes, was horrifying. Terrifying and unbearable. There was no one around, and he was rendered an insignificant speck. Feeling useless because he had no function was nothing compared to this. He was useless physically as well as useless to society. There was so much going through his brain all at once he couldn't comprehend it all.
"Simon?"
A booming voice entered the room, a voice he distinctly recognized as Yoko's. There was no way she could see him like this. He had to get away. Find a way to reverse this. Ask Nia what the hell she was thinking.
He had to hide. Ducking behind a table, he stayed still, praying the towering form that was his friend wouldn't notice him. He couldn't face her like this. He couldn't face anyone like this.

Yoko walked into the room annoyed. When she had seen Simon collapse about an hour ago, she was quickly moved from the room by Nia, who ignored her all-too-obvious concern.
"That just means it's taking effect, I think. He should be fine when he awakens."
"Are you sure?"
"Mostly?"
But after an hour, she couldn't take Nia's word for it. She ran into the room to find Simon, but all she found were his clothes.
"Simon? Where are you?"
Why would Simon leave his clothes just lying there? Did he take a shower or something? What the heck was in that tea?
