Adino then followed his comrades over to the wreckage, but he stopped and turned around. He saw the snake-woman arms huddled around her knees as she sat and sulked.
She lost something close to her...and he is expected to just stand by and ignore her?
"YOu guys go on ahead. I will check out this area!" Adino called out to Catec and Gyl. He then jogged over and was about five yards away.
"Ummm...hello..." No response from the blue haired beastwoman and Adino scratched his cheek a little. The fishboy put his hands behind his back.
"I...I wanna say I'm sorry for your loss." Adino said sullenly. "You...you must have lost something precious to those humans, didn't you?"
He saw Adiane respond by lifting her head, her one good eye glaring hard through her arms.
"I can't say I understand because...I don't understand. I doubt I have ever gone what you went through, so I cannot relate. But...if you want someone to talk to I-"
He was interrupted by her standing up, her much taller than the fishboy. She was glaring hard at him, her red eye burning. She took several steps towards the now intimidated fishboy he held his arms up to defend himself.
Only for the snakewoman to fall onto him, arms draped over him.
"You said you'd talk to me...right?" She asked, voice weak.
"Y-Yeah...I did..." Adiane then cupped his cheeks with both hands, a stern gaze looking into his bewildered face.
