The coast of the Mendell Channel was always a beautiful scene to behold: blue skies, white-yellow sand, seagulls chirping happily in the salt air. On any other day this day would have been an excellent day to go to the beach.

If today was any other day of course.

Inside a bay, there lay the smoldering and burning wreckage of a insectoid like warship, washed in thanks to the current and the tide. The warship had a reddish-purple outer body, had two giant pincers, and had an oblong face that looked like a carnivore of some kind. The face looked trashed, as if something destroyed it from the inside out. There were still fires burning on the ship, and black smoke and small contained explosions still rattled the warship as it lay beached on the coast.

This was the fallen warship of the Beastman Empire: Dai-Gunkai.

One thing that stood out was on the beach head was a blackened, but unmistakenly white machine of some sorts, a Gunmen. It was missing most of it's limbs save for an arm, and it's bulbous jutting eyes were totaled, wires and gears bursting out along with tidbits of oil. The scene as akin to like what would happen if real organic eyes were burst like baloons. Down below, near the machine's crotch a figure fell out into the water and slowly but surely, was carried by the waves onto the beach. The figure, evidently female, was rolled over by the wave's strength.

She looked human, but her scorpion tail proved she was anything but. She had long dark blue hair, messy and wet, reaching down to the middle of her back. Whatever she had on for clothing was almost torn, a red robe or kimono of some sorts, revealing white silky skin and an occaisional red tatoo.

She stirred, her consciousness trying to return to her as she heard footsteps of...something approaching.

"What the..." Mumbled Adiane the Elegant as she tried to open her one good eye and she saw...
