Three more souls make their way into town... AnimeVore,GTS,GT,Shrink,Unbirth,AnalVore chapter 19 by copier · original author: featherston

Our heroes were not the only ones on their way to Hidden Springs. In the wee hours of the morning, an Altaria and a Salamence landed together on the cliffs overlooking the town, each of them carrying a single passenger. Said passengers, two young men who looked to be close to Ash in age, carefully dismounted their Pokemon and recalled them into their containers. The owner of the Salamence was Brendan Birch, son of the esteemed Pokemon researcher Professor Birch, childhood friend of May and Max, and expert Pokemon Trainer. After winning his way through Kanto's Battle Frontier, he received a call from his father, telling him to make a stop in Hidden Springs, in order to study the town's eponymous bodies of water. For whatever reason, probably superstition, no one had yet attempted a serious scientific investigation of the springs' mysterious power, and Brendan hoped to be the first to figure them out.

The Altaria's rider was his faithful sidekick, Wally. When they first met, Wally had been a hapless, sickly child living in Petalburg City, with little hope of ever leaving his house or doing anything of note. Brendan, after helping him catch his first Pokemon, took him on as a student of sorts, and they went on to travel the Hoenn Region together, eventually making it to the Hoenn League Conference, where they both scored in the top four. All the while, his health improved, and he was able to catch more Pokemon and become a fairly competent Trainer in his own right. Though he was not as scientifically inclined as Brendan, he decided to follow him anyway, both out of curiosity about the springs and as a service to his friend.

"Wow...it looks like the stories were true!" exclaimed Brendan, peering down into the valley below with a pair of binoculars. Visible from the top of the cliff was the 50-foot Officer Jenny Ash had encountered earlier, curled up in a sleeping posture just outside the perimeter of the town. "This place really does make people grow...but, we're gonna need to find the actual springs if we wanna find out how..."

"Where are they?" asked Wally. "That's what we intend to find out; follow me!" The two darted toward the path leading down to the village, their minds filled with questions to ask of the inhabitants.

On the opposite border of Hidden Springs, one more party was slowly and sneakily making its way toward the town gates. Clad entirely in black and followed by a Ditto, it was none other than Brodie, the former "Phantom Thief" of Team Magma. Ever since the dissolution of his Team, he had struck out on his own, becoming an independent thief and chasing after whatever possible profits he could find. His attempt to steal the Ribbon Cup from the Hoenn Grand Festival had proven to be a bust, and since then, he decided to lay low and wait for the next good opportunity to strike. Fortuitously enough, it was during that time that he heard rumours about the Hidden Springs, and the power of the mystic water within them.

Naturally, this struck him as an excellent opportunity; not only could he use the size-changing waters for his own nefarious ends, but if he could somehow gain control of the source, he could sell it on the black market to the highest bidder! "And once I do," he said quietly to himself, "I'll be set for life! Now, c'mon, partner, let's get in there and secure our prize!" His Ditto cackled gleefully before crawling up his master's body and settling on his face, transforming into a perfect mask of a delivery worker whom Brodie had bumped off earlier. With his disguise in place, the Phantom Thief casually strode into town, unnoticed...
