Somehwere between the Kanto Region and the Sinnoh Region, a lone Ash Ketchum walked down the dirt path he was on. Pikachu was on his shoulder like usual. The two were headed for the Sinnoh Region to continue Ash's pokemon journey. Pikachu was the only pokemon that Ash had, hoping to capture new pokemon in the Sinnoh Region. He had left May, Max and Brock behind to start his adventures to the Sinnoh Region. Some other people would've taken the bus to Sinnoh, but not Ash. Ash liked to walk. As a pokemon trainer, he was used to walking everywhere he needed to be. He had a map, camp gear, and a change of clothing in his backpack. The dirt path he was traveling down on had led him out of the Kanto Region altogether. The path would lead him to a town called "Hidden Springs" , where he would find a pokemon center and spend the night. It was approaching late evening now, and Ash saw that he was entering a mountainus area.
"Pika pika pi" said Pikachu sleepily.
"It isn't far now" said Ash.
10 minutes later, Ash saw the lights of the city of Hidden Springs. The city was in a massive canyon. He could spot the pokemon center from where he stood, above the city. The dirt path led down to the city. Ash had paused to look over the city. From his vantage point, the city looked to be made out of toy buildings and toy cars. He was just about to continue down the path to the city, when he caught sight of something he wasn't expecting to see. There, sitting in his path was a gigantic foot, like a fleshy pillar. The toes of the foot towered above him. The toes had to be ten feet tall at least! The foot was connected to a 50-foot-tall Officer Jenny. Ash could almost look up Officer Jenny's skirt, but it was slightly out of sight. The gigantic Jenny was looking down at him.
"Um...hello there" said Ash, at a loss for words.
"Hello and welcome to our city of Hidden Springs" said Officer Jenny cheerily. "no dobut, you're wondering why I'm so tall"
"Yeah..." said Ash.
"It's because of the water springs here in this city" said Jenny. "come on" Jenny offered her gigantic hand to Ash to climb aboard. Cautiously, Ash climbed in the smooth and soft hand of Jenny. Jenny smiled and took a single step down to the canyon and into the city itself. Jenny then seemed to scan the city, as if she were looking for someone. Ash looked down at the dizzily height he had now found himself in.
"Please, I just wanna spend the night .." started Ash.
"Ah, Tom" said Jenny, spotting someone dressed as a guide. "this is a newcomer to our town. Please show him the springs" Jenny set Ash down gently on the road next to Tom. Jenny walked off somewhere.
"You're new here, huh?" asked Tom. Ash and Tom was in front of the pokemon center.
"Um, yeah" said Ash. "I'm just here for the night. I'm heading to the Sinnoh Region"
"You can stay for as long as you wish" said Tom. "but, after you hear about the two springs, you might wanna stay here longer"
"Oh?" asked Ash. "and why is that?"
"Thought you never ask" said Tom, smiling. "come on, follow me" Tom led Ash to a welcoming center to the town, where Tom told Ash about the town.
The city of Hidden Springs was founded around 100 years ago by a man and wife team. The man's name was William and his wife was named Elizabeth. They were heading to Sinnoh for new jobs, when they stopped off in this canyon for the night. While exploring the canyon, the two had found a cave that had two seperate springs in it. The two springs supplied the water for a small lake within the depths of the cave. Elizabeth and William both drank from the first spring they had discovered, the found that the water of the spring was delicious. Later on that night, both William and Elizabeth grew to 30 feet tall! In the morning, they couldn't believe what had happened to both of 'em! Well, it didn't take them long to discover that it was the water from one of the two springs that had caused both of 'em to grow. Two hours later, William and Elizabeth returned to thier normal sizes. Amazed by this, the two of 'em re-entered the cave. Through trail and error, William and Elizabeth found out that the water from one spring makes you taller and the water from the other spring makes you shrink. The more water they drank, the bigger (or smaller) they got. The effects of the two springs wears off in about 24 hours, unless you drink from the "enlarging spring" again within that 24 hour time frame. The two decided to tell everyone about the two springs, and this town was born shortly afterwards.
"Wow...that's quite a story" said Ash.
"Yep" said Tom. "Hidden Springs is a big vacation spot...especially for people on thier honeymoons"
"I'll bet.." said Ash.

The bus rolled its way along the road. On the bus were several people that Ash Ketchum knew. One of those people were Misty. Misty was taking a month off from being Gym Leader and this town called Hidden Springs sounded like a good place to take a vacation.
May and Max were also on the bus to Hidden Springs. Max and May wanted to see more of the area around Kanto, since the two weren't from the Kanto area. They had the small chance of seeing Ash while on his way to Sinnoh on the way to Hidden Springs.
Delia Ketchum, mother of Ash, was also on the bus. She had won a trip to the famous city of Hidden Springs from a radio travia show she had been on. Delia wondered if she would see Ash on his way to Sinnoh. Probably not. How wrong she was.
Brock sat at the very back of the bus, looking over a tour book. Brock had heard all about Hidden Springs. The town was supposed to be a popular town for the ladies, so he was going there to see if he could meet some beautiful ladies there. The bus rolled on. The bus would make it to Hidden Springs in the morning.

Jessie, James and Meowth were, as usual, following the twerp and his Pikachu to the Sinnoh Region. Ash was all by himself, meaning he was easy pickings for the trio from Team Rocket. However, they were sent "blasting off again" by Pikachu. The trio was traveling down the path that led to Hidden Springs. The trio was in a state of extreme hunger, like usual...but they made thier way to Hidden Springs in the early hours of the morning.
