"Sister ?" Mahoro was a little stunned to hear that. Suddenly, out of nowhere she hugged Minawa. "This is wonderful! I always wanted a little sister" Mahoro said happily. Minawa meanwhile was uncomfortable being squished against Mahoro's belly by her inescapable grip.
Finally Mahoro came back to her senses. She let go and asked "Wait, exactly how are you my sister ?".
"Well, my genetics, and mechanics, were based off your model, but I was created by the Keepers" Minawa answered.
Suddenly, Slash jumped in through the window. He was in his feral battle mode. He lunged at Minawa, who was frozen with fear. Mahoro however stepped in the way, and used a very unaurthadox defense method.
She belly bumped Slash away. It actually knocked him into the wall.
"Slash, stand down! You can't just attack her just for that!" Mahoro scolded. A pain based moan then came from the maid's belly. "Oh, sorry Suguru" Mahoro apologized now realizing that he took the brunt of that.
After rubbing his head, Suguru asked "Mahoro, who are the Keepers ?". "The Keepers are a race of human looking aliens that have been here possibly since the dawn of time" she began.
"They have secretly controlled human history from the shadows, and have also come to blows with Vesper in the past" she finished.
"Are the Keepers in cohutes with the Saint aliens ?" Suguru asked. "No, but it doesn't matter, since Vesper doesn't choose sides" Mahoro explained.
"You mean they're seen as enemies on both sides, but that's so sad" he said. "True, but someone has to keep the flame of hope alive" she said.
Mahoro looked back at Minawa "Tell me, why did you run away ?". "Well, I was created as one of the many soldiers, but my abilities were often faulty, and so was I in particular" she explained.
"They called me a waist of time and money....and...I was set to be....scrapped" she started crying.
Neither Mahoro nor Suguru could believe what they had just heard. "Scrapping a fellow human ?!" Suguru was disgusted.
He then spoke up "Minawa, if you're Mahoro's sister, then I insist you stay with us". Her tear flow stopped right there. Mahoro was unprepared for that as well. "Suguru..." she waited to hear more. "I know this means we might become a target for the Keepers Mahoro, but she's family, and we should help her out, don't you agree ?" he said.
Mahoro hugged her belly "Suguru, thank you very much".
"Then it's settled, from this day on you will be my little sister, and apprentice maid, Minawa" Mahoro smiled.
Her sister then abruptly hugged Mahoro's gut. It was like she was thanking both of her saviors "Thank you".
The thanks was soon followed by an apology "I'm sorry, about the position I've put you in". "Oh it's alright, besides, you are not the one who should be apologizing" Mahoro looked behind them.
Slash was still trying to stand up.
The two sisters went back to hugging "Welcome to the family Minawa".
