Asuka's first meal

One week later...
It was Asuka that had first heard the rumor. She had heard the rumor through the scuttlebutt at NERV headquarters which still operated. Most people saw the writing on the wall and didn't bother to go to work but some people still went to work at NERV. All of the pilots--Rei, Shinji and Asuka--still went to NERV out of habit.
Hundreds of clones had been made from Rei--or to be more specific, clones of Yui Ikari. The clones all shared the same eye color as the rest of the clones. The true Rei Ayanami had red within red eyes while the clones had sky blue eyes. Some of the clones didn't last long for the clones had been engineered with short life spans anyway. After all NERV needed just one clone of Rei to be active at any given time. When a clone died, its body fell apart leaving behind a body. The real Rei would come along and ate the lifeless husk. Other clones had simply merged with Rei somehow. Nobody could long endure the gaze of Rei/Lilith for long.
It was near impossible to tell when Rei was talking or that it was Lilith talking because the two shared the same voice. When Lilith was talking she had adopted a rich clear voice while Rei had the same voice as she had always did. Rei was much more talkative and assertive. Lilith made no demands on humanity: she didn't ask or demand worship, she didn't demand for churches and temples to be built devoted to her. Life continued onwards.
It had been a blessing not to fight angels anymore but Asuka had preferred to fighting angels to prove herself over going to NERV and not have anything to do. The three pilots spent their time in combat drills in case another threat to humanity should come which wasn't entirely impossible.
The rumor that Asuka heard upon leaving the medical department at NERV was that some disgruntled housewife in America had eaten her estranged husband that was having an affair. Asuka had dismissed the rumor.
Asuka and Shjnji were walking home from NERV after a long day. The two had a particularly vicious fight when Asuka had attacked Rei. Asuka had thrown insults directed at Lilith and Rei had a few choice words with Asuka. The fight had nearly devolved into fisticuffs when Shinji had intervived which resulted in a shouting match between Asuka and Shinji that a passing Misato had to stop. By the time that it was time to go home, Asuka had cooled down and so had Shinji.
"Isn't this the read that has a new restaurant on it?" asked Shinji.
Asuka and Shinji lived on opposite sides of Tokyo-3. The two would start walking together but they would go their separate ways a few blocks from NERV.
"What new restaurant?" asked Asuka. Somewhere behind the pair came the running footsteps of someone almost certainly exiting NERV. Shinji glanced backwards to see Misato running to catch up which was surprising because Misato was one of the higher-ups at NERV and would stay at NERV long into the night or even stayed overnight at NERV.
"Misato?" asked Shinji. "You're coming home early"
"The others can deal with all that crap" said Misato who had a bottle in her hand.
"Where did you get that?" asked Asuka.
"It's from my ultra super secret stash at NERV" said Misato taking a sip from the bottle. "I gotta celebrate cuz I was resurrected by our lord and savior, Rei, a few days ago....week....whatever..... and it's about time I got blind stinking drunk"
"No changes there" said Asuka looking around as if looking for something.
"Where is Rei by the way?" asked Shinji.
"Eh? Oh...she's busy cleaning up one of her own clones" said Misato. "Almost as soon as the two of you left, the clones started to die off in droves apparently and Rei is getting rid of 'em by eating them"
"It's the most efficient way of dealing with them" said a new voice.
Everyone turned to see Rei that had appeared next to Shinji sporting a fat belly. Rei had a small smile on her face as she caressed her middle. Rei was wearing her regular outfit when not wearing her plug suit.
"Does it count as cannibalism to eat yourself?" asked Asuka. "Or not since you're not human and they're only clones with a limited lifespan?"
"Part of me is human, Asuka" said Rei. "I've always been more angel than human"
Asuka muttered something under her breath that sounded very much like german. Judging by her tone, it hadn't been a friendly word.
"Look, you two need to learn to get along" said Misato. "You're stuck with each other for the unforeseen future"
"You talk well when you're a drunken whore" said Asuka.
Misato coughed as she was taking a swig from her bottle. "You take that back you German nationalist" here, Misato laughed.
Asuka turned on her heel to face Misato. "Are you calling me a fucking Nazi?!"
"I suppose I am" said Misato her words slurring.
"How much did you drink?" asked Shinji who rushed in to restrain Asuka from jumping on Misato. Asuka was glaring daggers at Misato.
"Not as much as I am later" said Misato taking a long pull from the bottle.
"Let go of me, Shinji" snarled Asuka. "I'm gonna kill that bitch"
"Don't call your superior a bitch young lady" said Misato.
Asuka snorted. "I am superior to you! I am superior to everyone on this planet!"
Rei did nothing but looked down the street at a building she hadn't seen before. It was a ten-story building made out of stone. A sign above the entrance proclaimed "The Infernal Tavern"
Misato had marched right to Asuka, shoving Shinji out of the way. Misato was lifting her hand presumably to hit Asuka across the face. Before Misato could smack Asuka, Asuka had grabbed her hand and shoved it into her mouth!
"Asuka!" yelled Shinji. "What are you doing?"
Instead of answering, a look of hunger came over the face of Asuka and she shoved more of Misato's arm into her mouth. Asuka made "hmmmm" ing sounds as she was apparently savoring the taste of her bewildered meal. Misato was struggling to get free but the grip of Asuka was far too strong for a drunk woman to handle.
Shinji rushed towards Asuka to stop her from eating Misato. Shinji was shoved backwards by Asuka and the boy stumbled into Rei who caught him in her arms.
"Oh dear....I was afraid that this might happen" said Rei.
"What?" asked Shinji.
"It seems that due to my influence" said the rich voice of Lilith. "I think that the whole world has gone...vorish"
"Vorish?" asked Shinji.
"It's the name given to a fetish called vore" said Lilith/Rei. "An odd sort of fetish to be certain but then.... all fetishes are odd I suppose. Anyway.....I may have unintentionally allowed for regular humans to eat each other"
"What?!" said Shinji turning to face Asuka who had the legs of Misato in her mouth. As he watched, Asuka slurped up the legs of Misato and swallowed her down.
"That's not normal though" said Shinji turning to face Rei.
"I sorta....gave them the desire to do so" said Lilith.
"Ohhhhh....Shinji?" asked Asuka, her words slurred.
Shinji turned to see that Asuka had a fat stomach. It reminded Shinji of the time where Asuka had been playing around with the controls of her plug suit that made the suit balloon out and absolutely filling a bathroom stall.
Asuka stumbled her way towards Shinji. She was obviously drunk due to the fact that Misato had been drunk. Asuka picked up the discarded bottle from the ground and looked at the label.
"Good old German beer" said Asuka taking a giant swig from the bottle. She sputtered and coughed violently but managed not to throw it back up.
"Looks like I cab hold my liquor" said Asuka while laughing drunkenly. She hiccuped and stumbled her way towards Shinji.
