With the sound of her heart beating thumping in her ears, Shinji opened his eyes to a seemingly empty room. He blinked twice, taken completely off guard by the sudden disappearance of his father. A sick feeling that his father was still staring at him ran through Shinji’s mind and he looked around for the man. Shinji couldn’t see him anywhere in the low lit office. He hadn’t heard him walk away and his eyes were only shut for a second, there was no way his father could just disappear.
As Shinji stood there, confused and slightly frightened, he heard a tiny sound. It was no louder then a pin dropping, but Shinji could just hear it. Shinji’s eyes moved downwards to greet the sight of a tiny dark figure at his feet. Recoiling back, Shinji gasped as he finally located his father.
“Is that you dad?”
Shinji knelt down to stare at the tiny man that moments ago had been threatening his life. All the fear that Gendo had caused Shinji was gone as he took in the sight of him now. He was less then three inches tall and, thankfully, fully dressed in his uniform. He was screaming something, but Shinji couldn’t hear him fortunately, because Shinji was sure whatever he was saying was far from polite.
“Did I do this?” Shinji asked himself, not his tiny father. He stood back up slowly, thinking over what had happened and then looking down at his father. He had said that he wanted his father to leave him alone and it seemed he had gotten his wish. With a simple thought, he had turned his father into little more then a mouse. That kind of power bordered on divine. A dangerous thought surfaced to his mind, was he all-powerful?
RING RING
Breaking from his trance, Shinji reached for his phone and flipped it open. Getting his head clear as fast as he could he quickly answered the caller.
“Hello?”
“What’s the hold up Shin-chan, everyone’s in the car waiting for you so we can go home? You’re not going to be cruel and leave three horny girl’s waiting in a cold, dark car, are you?”
“Of coarse not. I’ll be there soon, I just have to finish a few things,” Shinji said with a smile returning to his face. Hearing Misato’s voice always made him melt inside. Her teasing ton and sunny dispassion drove away all the lingering worries he had. Somehow, divine abilities could be forgotten when hearing Misato’s voice.
“Well hurry, the sheets are getting cold and I think Rei’s getting frisky. You better get here before she steals my innocence.”
“Don’t worry, I’m on my way. Try to stay pure,” Shinji chuckled before he flipped his phone closed. All his stress was gone, he was happy again and all he wanted was to go home with the women he loved and spend the rest of the day with him. He could worry about everything else later. Now, he had three sexy girl’s that needed his full attention.
“But what about you?” Shinji asked himself as he looked down at the biggest source of his suffering. After pointing a gun at him, Shinji wasn’t going to help his father return to normal or take his retribution. No matter what he’d done to Shinji, he was still his flesh and blood. Looking at how small and pathetic his father had become, Shinji knew what he had to do before he could meet up with Misato, Rei and Asuka.
