"You do not understand," the monotone voice of Rei protested. "I need to see Shinji immediately. It concerns..."
Misato paid attention only half-heartedly, hearing Rei cite a multitude of factors for her desire to see the young boy, the big two being that he neglected to explain the schoolwork he left before leaving, and also that she had apparently found out Shinji may have had more of an idea about her condition than she had previously known. Misato honestly was bored with the conversation, and had a lot of work to get done before she could go home.
"Rei, if you're not diving in, I can't help you. Sorry," she added with a smirk. Rei's stare indicated that she was still focused on Shinji.
"They have not told me anything. I am merely bought in to NERV when told and let out after the transformation has ended. Please, I must see Shinji."
What had just emerged from Rei's mouth was a half-truth. NERV's doctors had for the moment, kept quiet about her personality changing from stoic to sugary in order to better observe Rei's actions and hopefully, discover how to control it. It had been nearly a month since Rei's first transformation into what the scientists had affectionately dubbed the Amazing Colossal Ditz, and so far, all keeping Rei in the dark had done was annoyed her.
Still, that was only half the reason she stood in front of Misato right now. As she observed Rei's eyes firmly fixated on every bounce and sway of her engorged belly, Misato was easily able to tell that Rei had an interest in the boy that was anything but professional. Maybe her stoic facade was finally starting to crack?
"Misato, this is important. I need to see Shinji now."
Or maybe this was just the prelude to Rei transforming into her giantess form again. If that was the case, then maybe she would have been better off just spitting out Shinji.
That was doubtful though. Rei needed time between her size changes, or at least, that's what NERV had told her. That and Misato throughly enjoyed the feeling of toying with someone's lust, especially someone who was usually emotionless.
"Oh what to do, what to do," she spoke aloud, drawing the same annoyed stare from Rei.
