Kiyone must be hiding somewhere, Mihoshi realized. If Kiyone was shrunk, she wouldn't be out in the open where she could get stepped on. Oh, well. Time to land the ship. Kiyone would show up sooner or later...she could take care of herself. The decision to land was mostly the Torn's idea, although Mihoshi didn't have a clue where the idea had came from. The last time that Mihoshi had landed the ship, she crashed right into the lake beside Tenchi's house. Kiyone was the one to do landings...but since Kiyone wasn't there, the job went to Mihoshi to land the ship...or crash, in this case.

Seven hours to live. Seven hours to figure out how to be still alive when she came down to Earth. The Garbarge pod that Kiyone was in didn't offer any help at all. The pod had no engines to speak of...all it had were little thusters...and the thusters controls looked to be shot. There was no way to rig a mayday call either. So...this is how I meet my end, Kiyone thought bitterly. My partner goes crazy and kills me in a garbage pod. There'll be no body to discover....the pod might survive the fall to Earth, but Kiyone would die in the crash. The pod would most likely burn up in Earth's atmoshphere, taking her with it. If only someone would....
The view from the window in the garbage pod had been a great view of the Earth. Part of the planet was in shadow, and the other half was in daylight. Japan would soon cross over to the dark side and become invisible from space...save for the lights from the cities. It really was such a beautiful world from high above. However, the view changed at once from the Earth to the inside of a certain ship.
The door to the pod was ripped off and the face of Ryoko peered into the garbage pod.
"What are you doing in here?" asked the former space pirate.
"Mihoshi went crazy and attacked me...and put me in here" said Kiyone, getting out of the cramped garbage pod. "what are you doing here, anyway?"
"Mostly, I'm here to stay away from my insane mother" said Ryoko. "wait a minute...you said that Mihoshi attacked you?!"

Tenchi Masaki. Heir to the Jurain Royal Family, and in line to be the next Emperor of Jurai was at the moment picking carrots in the carrot fields that surrounded his house. It was twilight, and Tenchi was almost done for the day. He stood up and looked around as he heard a faint sonic boom from somewhere above. Tenchi looked up and saw that Yagami was heading straight towards the house! Didn't Kiyone say that she wouldn't let Mihoshi land ever again? Yagami was coming in too fast and too steep. Tenchi closed his eyes and hoped that he would survive the crash that was coming.
