The voice that emerged from Mihoshi's lips was cold and calculating, not the warm, somewhat ditzy tone the woman Tenchi had grown to love used in exclamations. Tenchi was already prepared for the worst, keeping his hand on the hilt of his sword, just in case as the being kneeled down, looking directly at him.
"Yes, Tenchi," he answered. "You remember me, right Mihoshi?"
"Mihoshi...is asleep," the creature answered.
"Asleep?"
Nodding, the creature in Mihoshi's naked body continued. "The threat attacked us, and Mihoshi's mind was rendered unconscious. I cannot awaken her, however she will awaken on her own in time."
Tenchi nodded, realizing the 'threat' was obviously Ryoko. But what did this thing see him as?
"Do you consider me..."
"Subject- Tenchi is not a threat," the cold voice responded. "Quite the opposite."
"Opposite?" Tenchi asked, hoping that he could use this opportunity to understand how this being thought before someone noticed it and freaked out.
"Yes. Sub...you, were the first one to present an objective outside of an order. You showed me feelings I was not designed to feel, and emotions my creator did not wish me to experience. It was...quite easy to see why Mihoshi felt the way she did about you."
Then something bizzare happened. The cold creature actually blushed. Technically, it was Mihoshi's face that blushed, but it was a blush nonetheless. Tenchi wasn't sure whether to smile or shake his head at the fact that of all things, a being of pure energy managed to fall in love with him as well. If Tenchi knew what it was about him that attracted women, he'd try to find a way to control it.
"So, where are you going?"
"There are threats nearby," the creature answered. "I cannot allow any threat to harm this body, lest I be forced to leave and without an objective. I must keep this vessel safe at all costs."
"Well you can't," Tenchi began, but was quickly interrupted by the Torn raising Mihoshi's body to its full height.
"A threat approaches. It must be eliminated."
"Eliminated?" Tenchi asked, trying not to sound too confrontational, but it was already too late. Mihoshi's body had walked off to face the threat, a face Tenchi easily recognized.
"Yes, Tenchi," he answered. "You remember me, right Mihoshi?"
