“This is bad,” Washu said as she stared at the screen. Everyone was crowding around behind Washu to see what she was looking at. On the screen was the newly giant sized Mihoshi, standing at alert not to far away from the road. It was lucky that the forest was so dense around Tenchi’s home, or Mihoshi would have been sighted easily. However, even with the dense forest blocking most people from seeing the two hundred plus woman, Mihoshi was dangerously close and if she took any more steps, someone was sure to see her.
Washu furiously typed as she stared at the screen, trying to come up with a solution. “We have to get her out of there fast, forget about her destroying the universe, if anyone sees her, we’ll be in even more trouble.”
“What’s the big deal? So a few people see the big dummy, what’s the worst that could happen?” Ryoko casually said with a shrug.
“I can’t believe we share the same DNA,” Washu muttered and shook her head at her daughters ignorance. “The worst that could happen isn’t someone seeing her, its her seeing someone. If she’s on automatic defense, she’ll kill them without a second thought and if her personalities have merged permanently…” Washu shuddered.
“What would happen?” Tenchi asked.
“Ever seen a cat play with mouse? Think of that, only messier.”
Tenchi could imagine it and he shuddered too. His face drew back as he focused on Mihoshi’s picture on the screen. His concern for his girlfriend was growing every second she was out there alone. He wanted to help her, but he wasn’t sure how. Whatever he did, he would have to do it now before Mihoshi hurts someone or got hurt herself.
“Send me out there to talk to her,” Tenchi Boldly said to Washu.
“What!?” Screeched Ryoko. She grabbed Tenchi by the collar and pulled him towards her to yell strait into his face. “Are you crazy? The bitch is huge; she’ll crush you without a second thought. You can’t help her Tenchi!”
Roughly, Tenchi broke out of Ryoko’s clutches. He stared at the cyan haired pirate and made her draw back. He looked angry, angrier then Ryoko could ever remember.
“Firstly, don’t call Mihoshi a bitch! She’s a sweet person in the world, which I know you could never understand. If Mihoshi is hurt because of your recklessness, I’ll never forgive you!” Every word he said stung Ryoko, making her wince and back away. She had no snappy response or argument, only humble submission. She stayed to listen to what Tenchi had to say, even though his words became muddled from after that moment. She’d really done it now, he was going to hate her forever.
“Washu,” Tenchi turned to the diminutive scientist. His intensity was still there, but he was no longer sending out such angry vibes. He looked into the scientist’s eyes pleadingly. “Send me out there. Mihoshi trusts me, she won’t think of me as a threat and attack, and even if she does, I have the Light Hawk Wings to protect me. Please, you have to send me out…I love her.”
No one noticed Ryoko slip away after those words.
Washu was torn, but finally she sighed and started typing on her computer. “I’m sending you right in front of Mihoshi, so watch she doesn’t step on you. Try not to seem threatening or disagree with anything she has to say. Remind her she is Mihoshi, not the Torn. With any luck, seeing you will return her to normal. Are you ready?”
“Yes.” There was no hesitation; Tenchi was ready to confront Mihoshi, whether she was violent or not. Washu activated her teleported and Tenchi started to vanish. He disappeared from the lab and reappeared miles away with Mihoshi. He barely got his baring when a booming voice from high above called out to him.
“Tenchi.”
