The sword felt heavy in the Torn's possessed hand. Not because of any physical characteristics, but because of the emotional decision that needed to be made. If it refused to carry out the orders given to it, it would be redefining its own existence. There wouldn't be orders, there would be its own decisions.
Could it live such a life?
Thinking over the past two days which had defined its existence, the first time it had left the laboratory of the creator, the being had done everything it had been ordered to. It had come to this planet because of an order. It took the body of the Seniwan because of an order. It killed her partner because it was ordered.
It helped the Seniwan achieve relations with the sleeping boy because that's what she wanted. Technically, it was a request instead of an order, but the same guiding principle was being followed. He was helping someone, only instead of the objective being murder and deceit to help the creator achieve universal domination over Jurai and the rest of the sentient species of the galaxies, it was a much simple goal, help the woman named Mihoshi Kuramitsu live her life without the timidness and fear that had plagued her so.
The second job seemed much more fulfilling.
Smiling, the Torn replaced the sword in the box that it was found in, and leaning over towards, the boy, gave him a kiss on the cheek, before quickly taking its, no, HER leave.
The Torn was no longer an individual entity. It was now part of Mihoshi Kuramitsu, Galaxy Police officer extrodinarre.

The monitor covering the entire wall of the laboratory went silent. The Torn had no interest in speaking to him anymore. Another traitor. No matter.
"If you will not return to me willingly, I will turn the Earth into a cinder and force you to return to me! Jurai will not have beaten me!"
Jurai...the name stung him every time he said it. He remembered it as it was just yesterday, his greatest failure.
Once, Saizo Primaron had been a member of the Universal Science Academy, and one of its most respected members. That all changed when he found the designs of a member who had been imprisoned by the council for creating weapons of mass destruction. The technology, atom-scaled machinery, was used to create a weapon called The Hive, a legion of nano-scaled robots which could form any shape, in this case, a fleet designed to conquer the known universe. As a scientist, using his weapon to conquer the universe was merely a matter of taking an experiment to its logical conclusion.
Jurai, as it was considered the most powerful of all the ruling empires, was second to be attacked, after The Hive's power was tested on a sub-galactic species. The initial invasion was a great success, which a beach head established close to the planetary capital. However, the Jurinian people possessed a power he could not understand. For ten days and ten nights, his fleet bombarded the capital, but this power protected the city from his assault, the weapons of The Hive failing to breach their defenses. On the eleventh day, the Jurinian fleet launched a counter-offensive, obliterating the Hive with its power, the power of what he assumed was the closely guarded secret of the royal family's power.
Ever since that time, Primaron had exiled himself to the deepest regions of the cosmos, hoping to unlock the power of the royal family, not for scientific gain, but for revenge, for he had been shamed and forced to abandon his standing as a great scientific mind when his experiment failed.
Now victory was close at hand, and one insubordinate creation would not stop him.
