With a heavy sigh, Washu replied "Yes," and began walking off to her lab, the giddy Mihoshi following with all the enthusiasm of a child going to a toy store. The others at the table could only stare at the sight, and wonder exactly how personally Washu had taken Ayeka's earlier comments questioning her ability. As soon as the pair left however, the atmosphere quickly returned to normal.
"So, is there anymore bacon?"

While Mihoshi began browsing through a holographic catalog of bathing suits as if she were on a shopping spree, Washu used the time to try and pinpoint any signs of infection that she didn't detect the night before. As usual, the results were the same. There were no signs of pathogens, radiation, or unusual chemical reactions. The sole variance that she had detected from what would be normal was an increased voltage in the Amazon's body, but that could be anything from a natural above-average pulse to static cling.
"Do you really need to pick out that many clothes?" Washu asked, turning her attention back to Mihoshi. Already she had picked out 3 dresses and a rather skimpy bikini to go swimming with, hardly the attire she had expected the girl to pick out.
"Well, I don't know how long I'll be like this..."
"Not very if I have anything to say about it," Washu replied with a huff. "I'm going to find out what's going on and fix it."
The machine next to Mihoshi had already pressed the dresses into existence, along with a two piece bathing suit that was little more than a thong with a top on it. Washu took notice, not because of some latent interest in swimwear, but rather noticing the one trend that was concurrent with the blonde's size increase, a rather pronounced increase in confidence, both in her appearance and her mannerisms. Smiling, she realized that there was one thing she had neglected to scan, the brain area and the various glands. She had assumed that anything from there would have entered the body, but perhaps...
"Are you going too?" Mihoshi asked as she looked over her new clothing.
"Go on ahead," Washu answered. "I've got a bit more work to do."
