Ayeka and Ryoko shut up, not out of any consideration for Mihoshi, but because of a mutual fear the girls had of the red headed genius leering at them. They both knew not to argue with Washu, the woman while seemingly weak could lock them both up in her lab for testing. Just thinking of getting on the mad scientist bad side made both of them lower their heads and slowly begin their breakfast.

Mihoshi didn’t show it, but she was grateful to get those twp harpies off her back. She wasn’t too worried about it slipping out that her jerk of a partner had kicked the bucket. If anyone found out there would be a moment of mourning, then kind words mentioned about Kiyone and then it would be back to business. The truth about Kiyone being dead wasn’t what Mihoshi was worried about. What really concerned her was everyone finding out why she wanted to stay on earth so much. She gave a quick glance beside her to the reason as he helped himself to some rice.

Getting Tenchi was her sole goal right now, fixing her currant size problem could wait until after she won the shy boy’s heart. She knew it wasn’t going to be easy, but with her killer body and newfound confidence, she’d have that boy in her lap within the day. All she needed was an opportunity to show him her sexy side.

“So Tenchi, what are you doing today? Going back into the field to finish picking the rest of the carrot crop?” Washu asked, grinning slyly at the only male at the table.

Swallowing what he was eating, Tenchi answered Washu. “Actually, all the crop is gone. I got most of it done yesterday, when someone came out and picked and then ate the rest.”

Everyone’s eyes fell on a cute little critter sitting on Sasami’s head. The cat/rabbit hybrid tried to look innocent of any crime by not making eye contact with anyone. Shaking her head at the cabbit’s antics, Washu asked again, “So what are you doing?”

“Well,” Tenchi began, tapping his chin thoughtfully. “I haven’t given it much thought. We normally don’t get any peace around here long enough for me to have any free time.”

Everyone nodded to that sentiment. It seemed a week didn’t go by without some alien menace trying to kill, kidnap or generally main one of them. It was a little surprising to know that no uninvited guests have attacked them yet. Somewhere in Mihoshi’s head, a being a pure energy tried to act nonchalant, even though no one could see it.

“I guess, since everything’s so peaceful and we don’t have to worry about anyone crashing into the lake, maybe I’ll go for a swim.” Tenchi grinned, thinking back to his childhood. His mother always used to take him swimming in the lake outside his grandfathers shrine. This time of year the water would be cool and crisp, perfect for swimming. It would be a nice change of pace from the hot spring baths he usually took.

Ryoko, Ayeka and Mihoshi grinned as well. If Tenchi went swimming then he’d have to wear his bathing suit. They’d get to see him shirtless careening through the water, all glistening and hot. One of them was also thinking about that, but also an even more favorable opportunity Tenchi going for a swim could have.

“I want to swim too!” Mihoshi jumped to her feet and cried out, nearly knocking the table over as she arose.

“And how exactly are you going to do that without a bathing suit?” Ryoko asked crossly, creasing her brow at the tall woman. She was looking forward to spying on her Tenchi all bare chested and wet. She didn’t need ten feet of woman blocking her view.

“Well…” Mihoshi drew out, turning to the woman that had gotten her recent clothes for her. Washu sighed and put down her bowl of soup. When had she started a clothing store for Amazons?

She was about to protest, when she noticed the way Tenchi was giving Mihoshi sideway glances. She’d noted him doing it earlier, but chalked it up to astonishment over Mihoshi’s height. Now, she was thinking the boy might be just admiring the view. Interested in seeing how this turning out, Washu told Mihoshi simply…
