Mihoshi made sure that her uniform was as presentable as possible before opening the door. While the successful landing and the sudden realization that she didn't need a certain whiny partner over her shoulder did fill the Galaxy Police officer with newfound confidence and enthusiasm, it didn't mean she could neglet her duties as a GP officer. Part of that meant being as presentable as possible while on duty, which Mihoshi technically was until she got changed.
Smiling, she opened the door. Whatever the problem was with her ship and the bioweapon the pirates used on it, she was sure Tenchi and the others would know what to do.

The sound of jet engines roaring over his home didn't bother Tenchi nearly as much as it once would. He was used to the aliens running around his home and the other little oddities that popped up every now and then. So when he saw the Galaxy Police shuttle land seamlessly next to his house, his reaction was subdued.
"Sasami?" he called from the garden towards the house.
"Yes Tenchi?"
"You'd better get two more plates ready. I think we're having company for dinner."
"OK!"
Putting down the hoe that he had been using on the considerable carrot crop, Tenchi walked out towards the ship, expecting to greet his two guests. What emerged from the ship surprised him doubly.
First, there was only one person coming out, and second...
"Mihoshi?!"
"Tenchi? You're small too?"

Sasami, who went outside to notice the amazonian Mihoshi along with Washu, didn't seem to have any objections to that.
"Sure! I made that pork roast with the rice and sauce from that magazine the other day. You'll love it!"
"I'm really not sure if that's a good idea," Washu began.
"Oh, why not? I'll explain everything that happened during dinner, I promise!"
