"Wait..." said Edward. "isn't the Dimensional Convergence Point one hundred miles away to the south?"
"Thalerazla controls a lot of territory" replied the man in tattered clothing.
"I'm not overly worried about the gateway" said Thalerazla. "the humans that live here stay away from my lair"
"Save for him" said Mii, nodding at the man in tattered clothing.
"Silas here came from another dimension" said Thalerazla. "he was a broken man back then. He had lost his country, the love of his life and his queen all on the same day. He chose to stay with me"
"You turned him into your slave" said Edward.
"Thalerazla treats me well" said Silas.
"Yes, I do" purred Thalerazla caressing Silas's bowed head.
Riza and the others all exchanged glances at each other.
"Anyway," said Thalerazla. "like I said, I was curious to see the kind of people that were in my forest. Some of you have....intriguing smells, you see. I can tell that only one of you is a human while the rest...aren't"
"Hey, they're human" said Edward, gesturing at Riza and Winry.
"They certainly smell human" nodded Thalerazla. "but they don't smell altogether human. There's a subtle difference in scents"
"Oh?" asked Lust. "and what do we smell like?"
Thalerazla considered it for a full minute before replying with, "A little like rancid manure if I'm totally honest"
"And here I thought I smelled like a rose" said Lust.

Revy found herself sitting on the bow of the boat called Black Lagoon. She was back in her human body which was a tad jarring. Revy had gotten used to her powerful dragon body. She had a cigarette in her mouth. She took a long pull on the cigarette before exhaling the smoke which curled before her eyes before vanishing.
Revy looked around to see that the boat was speeding on the ocean. The only light came from the wheelhouse where Revy clearly saw Dutch driving the boat. Next to Dutch was Rock. The two were talking to each other, although Revy couldn't hear their conversation.
Revy looked up at the night sky to see the moon was half-full. The sky was filled with countless stars.
So, you're the one that put on my necklace boomed a giant voice that was feminine. The voice was deep and had a musical quality to it.
Revy looked in all directions for the source of the voice but saw nothing.
"Who's there?" asked Revy. "and why the fuck am I a human again?
I'm a dragon now"
You're human because that's how you were born replied the voice. You're just a weak, pathetic human
"I'm not fucking weak!" yelled Revy coming to her feet and reaching for her guns to discover that they were no longer there. Revy looked around wildly for her guns but they weren't in evidence.
"Where the fuck are my guns?!"
You won't be needing those replied the voice. They would be useless in this place. No human can possibly hurt me
"Who the fuck are you, then?!"
Do you kiss your mother with that mouth?
"My mother ran out on me and my useless father " said Revy. "Probably couldn't take him being a fucking abusive alcoholic. The bitch left me behind with that piece of human garbage"
You have no love for your parents?
Revy cackled at that. "They had no concept of love at all. My father ignored me unless I gave him a bottle to crawl into or when he was beating the shit out of me. Couldn't go to the cops because they wouldn't kill the bastard....and one of them used me as a fuck toy"
Ah....you crave power cause you didn't have none in your life
"Power is everything " replied Revy.
I can't argue with that
"Who the fuck are you anyway?! " asked Revy.
I'm the owner of that necklace around your throat
Revy looked down to see she was still wearing the necklace that she had found earlier. The necklace was shinning with a golden light. For long moments Revy stared at the shiny necklace. It was as if she was hypnotized by the golden light that emitted from the necklace.
"Show yourself" demanded Revy.

Revy looked up to see that the sky had two moons now. It took Revy a few minutes to realize that the two glowing orbs weren't moons at all; they were eyes. Eyes that belonged to something gigantic. That was when Revy noticed a shape in the darkness of the night. A shape that blocked out the stars. It was the head of a dragon. The scales of the dragon were black as pitch. Light just fell into it and emitted none.
"What...?" asked Revy her voice quivering a bit. "Who...are you?"
I have many names; The Light-Eater, The Beast of Shadows, The Depthless Black, and many other names
"You aren't just a dragon" said Revy. It wasn't a question.
I am a God
"You're a god of shadows and yet your necklace is shinning with light?" asked Revy.
A light shinning in utter blackness
"Don't tell me I'm going to turn into a god for putting this necklace on" said Revy, her voice giddy with excitement.
No. If you were a pure dragon you would but you were born as a human so you aren't turning into a god. However, you have access to some of my divine powers. What powers you have access to I cannot say for now. You're gonna have to wait until your powers manifest to discover what powers you have access to.
"Fucking sweet" said Revy.
Revy woke up. It took her a moment to remember she had passed out due to all the alcohol she had drank earlier. It had been enough alcohol to kill an elephant but all it did was to make Revy simply pass out for a few minutes.
Revy looked down to see the necklace that she wore. The necklace looked as normal as it ever did. It didn't shine with a golden light like it did in the dream. Revy shook her head to clear it.
"Sleep well?" asked the voice of Mt. Lady who was closest to Revy.
"Yeah" said Revy. I hope that wasn't a drunken dream she added to herself.
