Riza looked down at the unconscious body of Henderson the wolf chimera. It hadn't been a particularly hard fight but it was rather vicious. The last attack that Henderson scored against the lieutenant was a claw swipe that took out one of her eyes. It was a long gash that started on her forehead, went through her left eye, and ended just below her collarbone. That gash was quickly healing thanks to the healing powers of being a homunculus. Riza had knocked out the chimera using both of her arms as a battering ram of sorts. Riza had lost the dagger she had drawn early in the fight. Henderson had knocked away the dagger which flew somewhere out of reach in the grass.
Now that the fight was over Riza was looking down at the unconscious body. Whoever Henderson was, he was surely part of the military considering he was a chimera.
Riza didn't remember making the decision of picking up the chimera by the scruff of the neck and lifting him far above her head. The old Gluttony had Riza in the exact same position at the top of a tower some months ago.
Riza opened her mouth and lowered Henderson's feet into her mouth. Slowly Riza swallowed the unconscious body. Riza had thought that the taste of the clothes would be unpalatable but that wasn't the case at all. In fact the clothes somehow enhanced the taste like icing on a cake.
Riza took several minutes in swallowing the chimera, savoring the taste.
By the time Henderson's torso had entered Riza's mouth he had regained consciousness. He took one look at the situation and immediately started to struggle. Riza focused on swallowing. No matter how hard Henderson struggled he couldn't free himself from the grip of Riza.
"How are you able to do this?!" asked Henderson.
"She's the homunculus known as Gluttony" said a voice off to one side. Henderson looked in the direction of the voice just as his neck entered Riza's mouth. Riza also glanced aside to see that Greed was watching the proceedings some ten feet away leaning on the low stone wall looking amused. Before Henderson could say anything more, Riza took one swallow and the wolf chimera vanished from sight down Riza's slick throat.
Several moments went by in silence. Riza was in a sort of alien glee from eating a person. She had actually enjoyed it. Riza had enjoyed the struggle of live prey in her hands and how it felt wonderful to have it sliding down her throat.
"You know for someone who doesn't eat people, you seemed to have enjoyed that" said Greed.
"Who doesn't enjoy a good meal?" asked Riza rubbing at her fat stomach. It took Riza a full minute to realize what she had just said. She clapped her hands over her mouth.
"I didn't...mean...." sputtered Riza. "I didn't mean to eat him....it was....just insnict"
"Oh yeah" said Greed, sarcasm dripping from his voice. "I'm sure other humans have the insnict to eat other humans"
This earned him a glare from Riza.
"You can no longer deny what you are, Gluttony" said Greed coming over to Riza and gave her stomach a pat.
For a moment, it looked Riza was going to eat Greed but she stopped herself when she had suddenly grabbed Greed by the scruff of the neck and started to move his head to her open mouth.
"I guess I can't" said Riza sounding dejected and letting Greed go.
"Don't be like that" said Greed putting an arm around Riza. "It was nessarcy. That guy would've gone back to his superiors and reported that Edward was here and they would send more people here"
"Yeah" said Riza in a quiet voice.
Greed looked around. "Talking about that little runt where is he?"
Riza snapped her head up and looked in the direction that Edward went. "The wolf had a friend that chased Ed off that way"
Riza made to run off to check on Edward when Greed's hand fell on her shoulder. "Don't worry about the kid. He can take care of himself. Aren't you more worried about the witnesses?"
"What witnesses?" asked Riza in horror.
"I saw these two teenagers walking down the lane that witnessed you swallowing down that chimera" said Greed. "They're long gone by now. They ran off when they saw me coming along"
"What would teenagers be doing up this early?" asked Riza.
Greed shrugged. "Probably going to school like a normal teenager and not becoming a dog of the military"
