The figure that emerged before the group caused Ishida's eye to twitch uncontrollably. The others however found him a tad bit...creepy.
"Why hello there my would-be test subject!" The makeup wearing Captain said with a gleeful smile. His head twisted slightly as he spoke.
"Mayuri Kurotsuchi." Ishida said as he pushed up his glasses, his eye twitching even more so than before.
"You know this weirdo? And what did he mean by 'would-be test subject'?" Tatsuki whispered.
"Unfortunately I do. And you don't want to know the rest." Ishida replied with his eye twitching so much that it was impossible for him to hide it. The rest simply left it at that.
"Well what brings you all here to the Soul Society on this fine day?" Mayuri said gleefully. The group were dumbstruck by his nonchalance.
"This fine day!?" Tatsuki shouted angrily! "Their are horny giants every rampaging both here and in the real world! How is this a 'fine day'!?!"
Ignoring most of her complaining, Mayuri heard the words 'horny giant' and 'real world'. His smile became turned into a slasher smile from how excited he looked. "Well well! Who knew that it ended up in the real world! This experiment has gone quite smoothly!" Mayuri wickedly said, his slasher smile somehow getting even bigger and more onimous.
The gang was shocked by those words of his! So this was all some sort of experiment was their thoughts. "So you are responsible for this! Why did you do it?" Chad asked him.
"Why? Well I wanted to try the abandoned growth project we began. It was truly a wonder! Growth spurts that result in spirit energy amplifying by one hundred-fold with every 15 foot growth spurt! It was a shame that Urahara had stopped it before we could begin live testing. But now I have finished what we had begun!" Mayuri chuckled triumphantly.
"But what was the point of the project?" Mizuiro asked calmly. But still rattled by this mad scientist and how he enjoyed the situation.
"To make lifeforms with Spirit Energy into true Gods of course! Think of it! Once you have grown vast enough say...40,000 feet. Maybe more. Your body becomes such a endless ocean of Spirit Energy that you eventually transform into pure spirit energy and ascend into a higher plane of existance!" Mayuri cackled madly with joy.
The gang sweatdropped. So his plan was to create Gods? Now that is a tad ridiculous. "So you planned on turning other beings into perfect Gods and you didn't think of testing on yourself?" Ishida chuckled in a gloating manner "Some mad scientist you are. Aren't you suppose to perform these kind of experiments on yourself?"
"Perfect Gods! Hardly!" Mayuri said with a frown at Ishida's sarcasm "Just because you evolve into a higher being doesn't make you any different than you are as a mortal. Your personality is still flawed. Meaning you become imperfect Gods! Plus the experiment has shown that all subjects are overcome by lust and a tendency to destroy!"
"Also, for your last remark. I am appalled that you would think of me in such a way! A scientist must never proclaim his work is perfect! The very thought disgusts me!" Mayuri said, his face shriveling into a very ugly prune."A scientist must always work to perfection. But never achieve it! The moment that happens your life as a scientist ends! You don't deserve to be called a scientist!" Mayuri said with disgust. But then he got a gleeful look in his eyes "Besides, that's why I created Nemu for. She was my very first test subject!"
"So you turned her into a giantess as well you sick bastard!" Ishida said angrily. Him and the rest of the group were appalled by how happy this mad scientist was at his work.
"Of course! Besides, I have nearly finished Nemu 2.0 anyways. Time for me to upgrade to the next model!" Mayuri chuckled. Proud of his continuing advances in science.
Ishida just turned his head away in disgust. But the others were more worried about the number of giants running around. "So how many people have you infected?" Chad asked calmly. While holding back his anger.
"Well since you asked. I infected Soi Fon, Hitsugaya and his Lt. Rangiku, Yoriuchi when she passed through the gate a couple of hours ago, Retsu Unohana, Isane Kotetsu, Hantarou Yamada by accident, Nemu of course, Nanao Ise, and well that's it. Though I must admit I plan on gathering more. Mostly from those hidden Vizard." Mayuri told them. His smile so wide that it was like it was just a face with teeth. The four of them were getting very nervous as they saw that smile.
