Sakura smiled at Naruto. He was trying to put on a confident front, but she could see the nervousness in his eyes. He was afraid she had a plan...and rightly so.
Sakura loved Naruto to death, but one thing that always bothered her was how protective he was of her. I mean... don't get her wrong, it was cute and sweet, but she had trained hard to! She knew he didn't doubt her strength, he was constantly singing her praises, but for some reason he still treated her like he was a porcelain doll. She planned on capitalizing on that.
Sakura knew that physically she was no match for Naruto. Sure her chakra-enhanced strength made her stronger than him, but all the strength in the world is useless when you can't hit your target. And Naruto was fast, he truly was his father's soon with his speed.
Naruto stared at Sakura who was smiling at him. She definitely had some sort of plan cooked up. He knew that the longer this spar went on, the more screwed he was. He needed to end this quickly so Sakura doesn't have enough time to enact her scheme.
"Alright. 3...2....1...GO!" Sakura and Naruto said in unison. Naruto flickered directly in front of Sakura and smirked at the surprised look on her face. He delivered a powerful punch directly to Sakura's sternum and she went flying backwards, bouncing across the ground until she eventually skidded to a stop.
"Maybe I overdid it a little..." Naruto mumbled. Sakura tried to get up but fell back over. Naruto started to panic.
Again Sakura tried to stand, but she clutched her chest and fell to the ground with a pained look on her face.
"Shit! SAKURA!" Naruto ran towards Sakura in a panic while he mentally scolded himself. He was such an idiot, he should've held back some. He scooped her up into his arms, carrying her bridal style.
"Just hang on Sakura-chan, I'll get you to the hospital, you're going to be fine, I'm so..."
Naruto was interrupted by the feeling of cold steel being pressed against his neck. Startled sapphire eyes looked down into smug emerald ones.
"I win." Sakura grinned. "You should've seen underneath the underneath. You know that I'm not so weak to be defeated by one punch."
"Don't ever do that again!" Naruto yelled angrily at the pinkette in his arms, much to her surprise. Naruto hugged her tightly against him. "I thought I hurt you... I wasn't sure what I was going to do with myself..."
Sakura's surprised expression turned into a soft smile and she cupped his cheeks and looked into his eyes.
"I'm ok. Calm down." Sakura soothed gently. "And maybe this will teach you to stop treating my like some doll that can easily break."
Naruto's angry expression softened. He knew it bothered Sakura how he treated her sometimes, but he couldn't help it. She was his most precious person and he would always try to shelter her from every negative emotion he could."
"Now, since I won the spar you're my slave for the week!" Sakura crowed victoriously, breaking up the touching moment. Naruto gulped nervously.
"Umm...right."
Sakura grinned and wrapped her arms around Naruto's neck. "Carry me to my apartment Naruto, I have something for you there!"
Naruto nodded and started walking to Sakura's house. Truthfully, Naruto enjoyed carrying Sakura around. If this was the kind of thing she was going to make him do it was going to be a very good week.

Naruto nodded and started walking to Sakura's house. Truthfully, Naruto enjoyed carrying Sakura around. If this was the kind of thing she was going to make him do it was going to be a very good week.
