Naruto furrowed his eyebrows in confusion. What Kameko said made sense, if Gaara was blown to kingdom come, then chances were the problem would be resolved for enough time to assemble an ANBU squad for support. Hell, Naruto thought to himself, if he is the sand, it might very well take care of him alltogether!

Kameko looked at the odd little shinobi as he proceded to rub his hands together and grin like... well, like a fox. "Well," Kameko asked, "Do you have a problem with me taking care of him?"

"Nope!" Naruto shouted up from her palm. "Take him out, Kameko!" As the possesed sand-nin proceeded to pull her fan out and spread it behind her, Naruto looked directly at the grinning visage of Gaara as he finished reforming. "You got it coming now, Gaara! We're gonna take you out in one shot!"

Gaara only grinned in response. "Go ahead and try it." He followed this up with licking his lips. "You'll only work up my appetite even more!"

Naruto had personally had enough of this talk tonight. He thrust his index finger straight at Gaara in an exagerated pose, and gave a custom Gai-sensei good guy smileTM. "Okay, Kameko, let her ri-!"

"Hold it, Naruto!"

"Eh?" Naruto tried to find the source of the noise without breaking his pose. Realising that it was not in his current sights, he sighed angrily and turned around. "IF YOU'VE COME TO EAT ME NOW, YOU GOT ANOTHER THING COMING!"

"Yo" was Kakashi's calm response.

"Wha- Kakashi-sensei? Doctor Quack?" Naruto saw the two standing on a building not to far to the right of Kameko.

Keiji balled his fists angrily. "For the last time, my name's-!"

"I wouldn't have her do that if I were you, Naruto" Kakashi said, interupting the good doctor's upcoming rant.

"And why not?" Naruto shouted angrily. "I've been trying to go around surviving for the past few hours without you, hoping that I could find help from someone who wouldn't try to eat me, conversing on strategy with an imaginary ninja, finding out that the Kyubi is a hot chick who has it out for me, and finally summoning a goddess so that I can make it 'till the morning without becoming someone's snack! Now why the heck should I listen to you!" Naruto was now shaking and pointing at Kakashi and Keiji, all the while panting. Kakashi merely let him finish, then pointed off past the Hokage tower. Naruto angrily turned his head to see what was so important to avoid destruction via wind fan- and promptly screamed like a little girl.

Ichimaru Ramen was in the direct path of the planned fan strike.

"Oh Kami-sama" Naruto muttered as he fell into Kameko's palm in a state of shock. Kameko merely stroked his back with her finger, feeling for the little guy. Not that she knew what the big deal was, but hey. He had summoned her, and he was cute, so comfort was the least she could give.

Gaara growled impatiently. "If you're done, I'd like to eat now." He raised his arms, and sand started to billow out around him.

Kakashi and Keiji jumped onto Kameko's palms with Naruto, observing the Kasekage as he gathered his sand. "Well," Kakashi said, "We can go about this two ways. We can think of some complicated plan on the run, involving bunshins, henges, and various ninjutsu."

Naruto, who had only done this once before (read: Zabuza saga) frowned at the thought. "Or..."

"Or," Kakashi continued, "we could pretend that this is Dragon Ball Z and just rush in with fists blazing."

"God, I hate that show" Keiji muttered under his breath.

"Gaara being made of sand makes the second choice sound stupid," Naruto pointed out. "But it's not exactly like planning a complicated method of hitting him would make much of a difference." He looked up at Kameko. "Any thoughts?"

"Not much." Kameko sighed, rubbing her temple. "But Temari's saying that if we kill her brother, no diplomatic immunity will save you from the Sand village."

"What's a Temari?" Naruto asked. Everyone around him sweatdropped.

Keiji turned back to the now cloudy image of Gaara. "So we can't kill him, and we can't hurt him. I suppose capturing is an option, if anything."

"But how?" Naruto asked.
