Kakashi sighed. There didn't appear to be anything out there at the moment. Naruto was clearly overstressed.
"You really need to sit down and relax," the sensei told his panicked student. "You're not going to get out of this if you keep freaking out at every little thing."
"But..."
"Keiji and I will look around, alright? Once we find that there's no one here, I'll come back and deal with you."
And so the two wandered off, to leave Naruto, his lack of ramen, and the swirling fears to come to a boil. He had no idea how to handle the situation, or what to do next. All he could do was clutch the explosives in his hand, hoping an idea would come to him.
Unfortunately for him, a loud crack on his head decided first.

Naruto, wake up. You're not going to sleep through this, I won't allow it.
Attempting to rub his groggy head, Naruto found his arms were pinned down, unable to move. Similar efforts to move his head and legs found that they were also pinned down, in what appeared to be a long, entangled web.
And about five feet away, a familiar face, standing on the celing.
"Anko? You too?"
The jonin level ninja chuckled at Naruto's expression of disbelief. "What do you mean, 'Me too?' I've been planning this ever since I first tasted you, all that time ago when you entered the forest of death."
Naruto remembered the incident, and being licked by Anko, although rather vaguely. How she could have obsessed over such an incident for so long was becoming a familiar theme, albeit one he disagreed with.
"So what is it? Why does everyone want to eat me?"
Anko chuckled again, looking at Naruto's desperate struggles. "You silly little boy. Do you really think we all have one simple reason you can just get rid of? I tried Naruto. The only thing that will cure the hunger is you. They need you, not for the same reason, but we do need you. And there's nothing we can do to change that."
