“It’s simple Naruto, my dear. I need you” Out of the shadows she came. This was the moment she had been waiting for. The time had come for all her dreams to come to fruition. She stared at the shell-shocked ninja, licking her lips and rubbing her spear. He would go down so well and once inside her, they would never part. Hinata stepped closer.
As she drew towards him more rapidly, Naruto backed away. His first speculation that Hinata was his stalker had been right all along. She was the one leaving him those creepy letters. She was the one watching him all the time. She was the one that wanted to eat him. Naruto gulped as he stared into the dead white pupil eyes of his stalker. The top buttons of her grey coat were open and underneath, Naruto saw that she wasn’t wearing anything underneath. She must of prepared for the extra mass she’d be taking in once she swallowed him. Backing up into a corner, Naruto saw that he had no way out.
“But I don’t get it, why do you need me of all people?” Naruto asked. He really couldn’t care less about the why, he was just looking to distract her. He needed to buy time so he could make his escape. Survival took precedent over curiosity.
“Because Naruto…” Hinata’s eyes softened for a minute and she put the spear down. “…I love you. I always have since back in the academy, but I know you don’t feel the same. It tore me up in side seeing you around the village, knowing that you didn’t return my feelings. I wanted to hate you, but I couldn’t get past my love. It wasn’t until I found that book on the Dolcett that the answer came to me. Our destinies are intertwined, but our love isn’t meant to be in this lifetime. I cannot wait until our time in the next life comes so until we meet again, I will take you into myself. You will stay inside of me until I pass and together, we will go into the afterlife bonded as one soul.”
“You lost me at the part where you told me you love me,” Naruto said confounded. This was so confusing for Naruto. Everything Hinata had said went right over his head. Her passion seemed so odd for her and the turbulent way that she spoke made her seem like a completely different person. Who would of ever guessed that Hinata even liked him?
“How about instead of killing me, we go out for a bite to eat?” Naruto helpfully suggested, grinning hopefully.
Hinata licked her lips and lifted her skewer off the floor. “Good idea, you can be the entrée.”
With a single lunge, Hinata threw her skewer at Naruto aiming for his sleeve. First, she’d pin him to the wall, maybe go into another rant about her undying love for him. She practiced several more in front of the mirror before coming here and wanted to use them all. Then, she’d go strait to the meal. All this waiting had been driving her insane, correction, insaner. Tonight she’d dine on Naruto!
POOF
In a cloud of smoke Naruto disappeared, leaving Hinata’s skewer embedded in the wall. Looking dumbly at the vacant spot where Naruto had been standing a moment before, Hinata grit her teeth and screamed out at the heavens.
“DAMN YOUR SHADOW CLONES JUTSU, NARUTO! I WILL FEED ON YOU!”

“Must run, hide from crazy girl. Must run, hide from crazy girl. Must run, hide from crazy girl.” Naruto repeated over and over, as he ran down the streets towards anywhere far away from Hinata. He had been lucky enough to escape by leaving a shadow clone while Hinata was giving her long-winded speech about bonding and heaven and a bunch of other junk that Naruto didn’t get. He looked over his shoulder, making sure a maniacally laughing Hinata with a giant spit wasn’t closing in on him. As he looked behind him, he ran strait into someone knocking them both to the ground. Naruto looked in front of him, his eyes widening in surprise and joy.
“DR. Quack!”
“It’s DR. Ramasuki, actually,” Kenji said, dusting himself off and getting back to his feet. Naruto jumped to his feet and ran up to the man, grabbing him tightly by the shoulders. Franticly, he told the psychological consultant everything he’d learned.
“Doc, it was Hinata, this crazy girl from my old academy days, who I didn’t know was crazy until she broke into my house trying to eat me. I would of never thought that she’d really do this, I mean, I did think once or twice, but come on doc, she was the shyest person I know.”
“Naruto,” Kenji deadpanned.
“I never believed that saying that it was always the quiet ones, but I sure do now. You got the believe that after this I’m never going to look at someone that doesn’t like talking the same way again. If Hinata could be crazy, then who knows who else could be nuts as well. From now on, anyone that likes to be quiet I’ll check isn’t crazy.”
“Naruto,” Kenji said with a little bit more force.
“I guess I need to start making a list of quiet ninja’s I know that are crazy. Lets see, Shino’s always silent and he hangs out with bugs so it’s pretty likely he’s crazy. Garaa’s always been quiet and crazy, so I guess that makes sense. Hey quack, you know anyone who likes to be quiet?”
“Naruto!”
“Yes?” The boy grinned at a red faced Kenji. Calming himself down by counting to ten, Kenji reached into his jacket and pulled out all the love letters that Naruto had given him to look at.
“Hinata didn’t send you all the love letters.”
Naruto rolled his eyes, “Of coarse she did. Where have you been? She broke into my apartment with a one of those big spike things and told me up front she was going to eat me. It had to be her.”
“No it isn’t,” Kenji said, stressing his words. “I looked at all your letters and came to a very starting breakthrough. You received twenty-three letters all together and not one of them has the same handwriting. Each one is different in wording and language, with different sized and shaped letters. There is no way that one person sent you all these letters.”
“What does that mean?” Naruto said, feeling the blood slowly leave his face. He could tell that something was wrong by the way the shrink was talking. He couldn’t understand what he was saying, but he knew it was bad.
“It means, Naruto, that you don’t have a stalker. You have twenty-three stalkers. All with one thing on their mind, eating you.”
Somewhere in the shadows, a chorus of giggles could be heard.
