It was a moonless night as Naruto and Sakura silently snuck through Konoha. They were almost there, almost to freedom. The life of a wanderer wouldn't have been Naruto's first choice, but it was certainly better than the life of a kunoichi's shit.
"Ok Sakura, right up here is where Jiraiya put a seal that deactivates a small part of the detection field around Konoha so we will be able to leave unnoticed." Naruto whispered. "We're just going to... shit! Sakura, we're being followed!"
"What?" Sakura looked around her, she hadn't sensed anyone's presence, but Naruto had better sensory skills than she did.
"Fuck, there's some people up near the seal too. I don't think this is going to go smoothly."
"When does it ever." Sakura sighed. "What should we do?"
"The people up ahead aren't moving. The person behind us is trying to catch up, so I think it would be best if we stop and let them catch up, then deal with them before moving onto the people ahead."
"Works for me."
They both stopped, and in a few minutes Tenten dropped down before them.
"Well look what we have here. A tasty little treat who was supposedly eaten today is trying to skip town with the girl who supposedly ate him. Choosing a man over your village Sakura, for shame."
"I'm only going to say this once Tenten... if you don't want to end up as a pile of my shit, you will back the fuck off and forget you ever saw us." Sakura warned. "If you try to stop us, you will be my midnight snack."
"I'm sooooo scared." Tenten rolled her eyes. "I think Naruto here will be mine instead. Then I'll give you over to Tsunade-sama. I'm sure she won't be too happy with your betrayal. If you're lucky, she'll just eat you. But she'll probably end up sucking you straight up her ass instead."
"You're going to regret this Tenten. You won't regret it for long, because my stomach will make quick work of you, but you'll definitely regret it." Sakura promised.
