Barbara knew that Sam was cheating at poker by the sixth round. She couldn't be certain that he had started cheating right off the bat but she suspected not. It was almost certain that Bruce knew. It didn't take much convincing Sam to allow Bruce and Barbara to join in the game. Both Jonah and Bruce a small pile of money in front of them while Barbara had, comparably, a smaller pile. The only one who wasn't paying poker was Tazz who had pulled out a book called "The Joy of cooking rabbit" from his fur and was reading it.
"It's your deal little missy" said Jonah as the seventh round began. Barbara started to deal the cards when Sam asked, "Anything wild?"
Barbara hesitated before answering, "Sevens are wild"

After Barbara was finished dealing the cards there was a longish pause while Bruce considered his cards. Finally Bruce said, "No bet"
"Hmmm, no bet here either" grumbled Sam.
Jonah considered for almost a full minute before he declared that he wouldn't bet either. Barbara looked down at her cards and was about to be the first person to actually bet when she noticed that someone had entered the saloon.

Okay, that wasn't exactly accurate. Nobody had really entered the saloon but a telltale sign of someone digging through the ground underneath the saloon. The telltale sign stopped just short of the bar. Everyone in the saloon had seen what had entered the saloon at this point.
There was a pause and then someone burst into sight making a mess out of the floor. When the dust settled none other than Bugs Bunny was standing in the hole he had just made. He had sprung out of the ground with two suitcases in his hands. Bugs had a pair of sunglasses on his face and he also wore a Hawaiian shirt on which clashed with the clothes the others were wearing.
"Ah, Pismo Beach!" exclaimed Bugs in a voice that filled the saloon. "and all the clams I could e....hey....wait a minute here! This ain't no Pismo Beach"
Bugs proceeded to pull out a roadmap from a pocket of the Hawaiian shirt and looked over A moment later Bugs were mumbling about taking a wrong turn at Albuquerque. Bugs was blissfully unaware of the potential danger he had put himself in.
Everyone at the table had turned to face the intruder that was Bugs Bunny. There was a pregnant pause. Nobody reacted save for Tazz who launched himself at the unsuspecting Bugs.
"Look out!" called out Barbara.
"Eh?" asked Bugs as he turned to face who was coming right at him. Bugs yelped and dove back into the hole he had just dug. Tazz landed right next to the hole and, after a pause, decided to jump into the hole as well.
"Hey!" yelled Sam, rushing off to the hole and jumping into it. "you already had yer dinner!"
"Shall we take that as a forfeit?" called out Barbara.
"Knowing Sam he'll be back" said Jonah.
A few minutes went by before someone came back up from the hole. It was Bugs Bunny who quickly sealed the hole up with dirt. Bugs dusted off his hands when he was finished. He looked up to see Barbara, Bruce and Jonah looking at him.
"I don't suppose that any of yas know the way to Pismo ?" inquired Bugs.
"There sure ain't no beach 'round these parts" said Jonah.
As if on cue the door to the saloon was kicked in. Harley Quin entered the saloon. Unlike when Barbara had seen Harley on the news earlier she was now dressed as a typical cowboy.... or cowgirl in this case. She wore a long black leather duster along with a ten gallon hat. The hat itself was black with red trim. A red scarf was tied around the hat that had a design of playing cards on it. Harley was wearing a shirt that had the words "Good guys wear black" on it. Harley also wore long red and black pants and immense red boots which looked to be made out of leather. There were spurs on each boot which jingled each time she took a step. Just visible on her hip was a belt with a belt buckle that had a design of two crossed hand pistols.
Harley held a box that clearly came from a Chinese restaurant in one hand and a pad of paper in the other. She ignored Bruce, Barbara and Jonah as she walked towards Bugs with an overly enthusiastic expression on her face. Barbara had time to register that there were shrunken people in the takeout box....quite a lot in fact.
"If it ain't Bugs Bunny!" squealed Harley as she came to stand next to Bugs sounding like a little schoolgirl. "I'm such a HUGE fan of yours! C-can I have your autograph?"
Harley shoved the pad of paper into the hands...erm, paws of Bugs who was clearly shocked at the sight of Harley. A moment later, Bugs had pulled out a pen and wrote something on the pad, presumably his autograph.

"Who in tarnation---?" blurted out Jonah.

Once Harley got Bugs's autograph she waved a hand lazily and Bugs vanished into thin air. Harley whirred around to look at the people at the table. She flashed a smile as she went to the chair that had been occupied by Sam moments before. She sat in the chair and put her feet on the table leaning back on the chair. As Harley surveyed the people at the table in turn she reached into the Chinese takeout box and pulled out several shrunken people and proceeded to eat them.
"So," said Harley after a moment, "you get transported into a cartoon and all you did was play poker? How very mundane of you"

"I quite agree with you there, Miss Quinn"

Bat-Mite was suddenly there in the middle of the table as if he had always been there. The imp from the fifth dimension munched on popcorn from the box in his hand. Bat-Mite continued, "I was rather hoping for a gunfight....but then again, Bruce wouldn't approve of such a thing. Hmm. Perhaps I was wrong in picking a Western as my after-dinner entertainment"

A smirk came on Harley's face. "Then allow me to change the genre"

******

Bruce, Barbara and Bat-Mite found themselves on a pier. Bat-Mite was hovering over Bruce and Barbara. Bruce and Barbara looked around to see that they were clearly in New York City at mid day judging by the position of the sun.
The pier was perhaps half a mile long. At the end of the pier were several people that were fishing. In the distance the Statue of Liberty could be seen. By the surroundings it was easy to tell that they still were in a cartoon-y world.
"Uh...where's Harley?" asked Barbara.
"What's happening over there?" asked Bat-Mite, pointing at the ocean.

A swell of water was coming towards the pier. It was clear that something swimming underwater. Something immense. Barbara, Bruce and Bat-Mite silently watched as the swell of water came ever closer to the pier. The people that were fishing all noticed the telltale sign of something coming towards the pier.
The giant swell of water stopped just short of the pier. The gigantic head of the grinning face of Harley Quinn emerged from the ocean. Harley's hourglass body soon followed as she got into a standing position.

Harley was now a mixture of Godzilla and herself: there were spikes along her back that clearly belonged to Godzilla. Her skin was tinted green and she had Godzilla's claws instead of hands. She also had a long tail. She was easily four hundred feet tall, if not taller.
Harley looked down at the tiny Bruce, Barbara and Bat-Mite. She then tossed her head back and let loose the iconic Godzilla roar.
