Gotham Botanical Gardens Comic Vore, GTS/GT, Shrinking, Unbirth chapter 23 by copier · original author: erik

Henry Rothschild hurried through the underbrush. He was somewhere in central park trying to get away when he decided to glance down the wrong path that went under a bridge. Why did he choose now, of all times, to visit the notorious central park? It was all thanks to the day he just had. He would've preferred to come to the park earlier for his daily walk but between work and errands Henry just couldn't find the time. It didn't help matters that Henry's mother-in-law had flown into the city to visit Candice, her lovely daughter, that Henry had wed six years ago. Dorothy wasn't that bad of a mother-in-law to be honest but she was a bit of a slave driver and a well-known workaholic. After Henry had gotten home from work he was greeted by Dorothy at his home in a foul mood. Exactly what was the cause of Dorothy's mood was unimportant. Henry had spent forty minutes at home when Candice came home and almost immediately got into an argument with her mother over financial problems. Henry had managed to sneak out of the house without Dorothy and Candice's notice. He had considered defending his wife but he just grew tired of listening to the argument.
Henry drove to central park, parked his car at the northern end of the park, and started down a random trail that would take him to the seldom-visited areas of the park. He had trodden down this particular trail at least a hundred times and he never grew tired of it. Of course this was the first time he had trodden down this trail at night. It wasn't the first time he had visited the park at night however. The times Henry had went to the park at night could be counted on one hand.

Henry eventually came across a junction where multiple trails met. He was rather enjoying his little walk at night. The park looked so different at night. It had a different vibe if nothing else. Despite the park's reputation at night Henry wasn't especially scared of coming across a crime in progress or becoming a victim of one. That all changed when Henry heard several raised voices off to one side. He looked around until he saw that one of the trails led to a bridge that .......
The gunshot went off almost as soon as Henry's gaze fell upon four figures standing near a bridge. The park had decent lighting with streetlights lining almost all of the trails. The four figures nearly surrounded a fifth figure lying on the ground. Henry couldn't see faces or anything identifiable about the figures due to the lighting. If Henry had just walked off quietly from the scene everything would've been fine. Sure, Henry had stumbled across a murder right in front of him and it was horrible for the victim, but he was no hero.
When Henry's cell phone suddenly rang it might as well as been a canon.. The four figures were well within hearing range and so all turned, as one, to face Henry. Henry ran for it when the four figures started to run towards him.

Henry was forced to head right into the underbrush off the path. He didn't even bother to glance behind him. He could practically feel he was being chased. He ran in random directions trying to lose his pursuers to no avail. Whoever was chasing Henry must've been track stars in their youths since they apparently had no trouble in keeping Henry in their sights.
After a little over four minutes of running Henry ran out of the forest and he entered a large circular clearing where there were no trees in it. Henry ran for the other side of the clearing where a towering shadow loomed over the clearing. It didn't take Henry to recognize the looming shadow for it used to be the clock tower for the Gotham Botanical Gardens.
Henry knew it was the Gotham Botanical Gardens he was running towards because it was his favorite places to go in the park back in his younger days. The botanical garden had been arguably the main attraction of the park dating back to nearly a century.
Henry paused just short of re-entering the forest and going closer to the overgrown gardens. He was just standing there undecided on what to do when voices came from behind.
"He's right there!" yelled a gruff male voice.
"Let's get him!" came a second voice.
"What's up ahead?" wondered aloud a third voice.

Henry rushed towards the forest, running pass by an overgrown sign that read "Gotham Botanical Gardens"

Henry made his way through the overgrown area that surrounded the botanical garden. The overgrown area around the botanical garden were a result of the fact that the building was once a hideout -- although some would call it lair -- of the notorious Poison Ivy, just one of the "super criminals" that Gotham was infamous for.
The building itself was a sprawling gigantic greenhouse that had a,clock tower. Exactly why a botanical garden needed a clock tower was a mystery to Henry. Wouldn't a sundial be more appropriate for such a place?
The clock tower, along with the building itself, was overgrown with ivy and vines. The botanical garden had three stories to it with the clock tower being at least six stories tall. The clock tower stood in the middle while the rest of the building was vaguely shaped like a cross. The area around the botanical gardens were overgrown with trees and shrubs.

Henry made it through the overgrown path that led up to the botanical garden with little trouble. The doors to the gardens, as well as most of the building, was glass. Without hesitation Henry opened the door and entered.
Henry breathed a sign of relief as he walked further in. The building was lighted so Henry saw the rare and valuable plants that the building held. He walked down a path lined with trees and flowers. The smells inside the botanical garden were pleasant and set Henry's mind at ease. This place was a sanctuary, not just for plants, but for the people that entered. All were welcome here.
Henry continued to walk down the path until he came upon a great statue depicting the goddess Demeter. The statue depicting the goddess of the harvest and agriculture served as the crossroads of the gigantic greenhouse, where one could go to the different wings that made up the botanical gardens. Henry stood to admire the statue. His admiration leaned towards the craftsmanship of the statue instead of the subject.
There were benches dotted here and there around the statue. Here, Henry choose to sit on a bench that was donated by Arthur West to rest up. His anxiety of being chased here quickly faded from his mind. He reached for his cellphone only to discover he had no service here.

"A lovely little garden isn't it?" came a voice. Henry looked around to see who had broken the silence. After a quick examination of the immediate area there wasn't anyone in evidence. His gaze shifted towards the statue.
"Unless a statue is talking to me," said Henry. "I could've sworn I was alone here"
There was a soft chuckle before a woman emerged from behind the statue. She was an extraordinary beautiful woman with bright red hair and green within green eyes. The dress she wore were made out of flowers, primarily roses. The woman had quite a large chest. The woman was also wearing a crown of roses and thorns. Henry's jaw dropped as he saw the gaze of the woman shift towards the statue before, finally, settling on Henry. The last thing that Henry noticed about the woman was her dark green skin. As a lifelong citizen of Gotham Henry had no trouble in recognizing the woman.
"I know you," said Henry. "you're Poison Ivy!"
"Pam to her friends" came another voice from behind. Henry glanced over his shoulder to see a woman dressed in royal regela that had bleached skin. Henry noted that the woman sported a large belly. As the royal came closer he recognized her as well; Harley Quinn.
"And you don't have to worry about the men who were chasing y..." said Harley. Her speech was interrupted by a loud belch. Along with the belch came out what looked like tattered clothing. "um, excuse me"
Harley was being followed by a man in a red and black suit with a mask covering his eyes. Behind the man, near the closed doors of the botanical garden, stood two humanoid animals that Henry couldn't immediately identify.

"Uh....you....ate them?" asked Henry.

"I sure did," replied Harley before shifting her attention to Ivy, "Have you found what you're looking for here, Red?"

Ivy had bent over and opened a secret compartment at the base of the statue. She opened it and pulled out a vial of green liquid.
"Yes, this'll do nicely" said Ivy.
"What's the with the vial?" asked Harley.
"Years ago, I thought up of a formula that'll help me to turn Gotham into a garden of Eden" said Ivy.
"Awesome"
