Ultimate plot armor Comic Vore, GTS/GT, Shrinking, Unbirth chapter 36 by copier · original author: erik

The elevator ride up to Grandmaster's private little apartment took a little more than two solid minutes. The elevator was quite spacious easily able to hold ten people comfortably which made Gwen wonder what kind of guests that Grandmaster entertained. This thought led to the "delightful" image of the Grandmaster having orgies while he watched the fights in the arena. It would only make sense. Why would the apartment be so high up in the arena? Why not have the apartment a bit closer to the action?

"<I'm sure that has more to do with the Grandmaster wanting to show that he's above everyone on this planet>" came a voice in Gwen's head. The voice didn't belong to Venom. It didn't take Gwen that long to figure out that the voice must've belonged to Galacta who was standing right next to Mystique who was standing next to the elite guard.

'Oh goody' thought Gwen. 'I get to have another voice in my head'

"<Fascinating. This is my first time actually meeting somebody that's bonded to a symbiote>" said Galacta.

'And this is the first time I ever met with a cosmic entity.... well, a cosmic entity that's native to this dimension' thought Gwen.

"<You've been to other dimensions? Heh. Not many mortals can say that>" said Galacta.

'What were you doing on Earth?' thought Gwen.

"<Unlike my father I don't devour planets..... on a regular basis. No, I tend to go after deadly pathogens unknown, as well as undetectable, by human medical science as well as other threats. The cosmic organism I was talking about earlier feeds on the molten cores of planets. Had I not hunted it down Earth would eventually lose its magnetic field>"

'That wouldn't be good news for life on Earth' thought Gwen. She paused and added, 'What did you mean you didn't devour planets on a regular basis?'

"<I inherited daddy's hunger>" said Galacta. "<you simply have no iota of an idea how much I struggle not to devour the Earth. I try and try to hold my hunger in check but I just can't help myself sometimes and I end up devouring other planets.....and even stars of late>"

'Well....thank you for not devouring my home planet' thought Gwen.

"So, tell me" said Mystique. "if Galactus is your father..... then, who's your mother, Galli?"

"Well, I kinda doubt that Galactus wrote himself a personal ad" said Gwen. "I mean, what would that say? 'Devourer of Worlds seeks romantic relationship. Must love sharks with legs' "

"My father wouldn't have the time to establish a meaningful relationship -- romantic or otherwise -- he just told me I spontaneously grew within his body. Even he doesn't fully understand how or why" said Galacta. "perhaps I grew with excess planetary energy within daddy's body. It didn't happen overnight but over the course of centuries"

"Centuries?" said Mystique.

"Cosmic entities don't normally reproduce" said Galacta. "that only makes sense. Why would immortals have the ability to have children? They don't even have a libido to speak of. A cosmic entity is far more complex than, say, human biology. Thus, if a cosmic entity becomes pregnant -- for lack of a better word -- it would take far longer to give birth to their offspring"

"Um, I guess so" said Gwen.

The elevator stopped and, after a moment, the doors opened to reveal a longish corridor that ended at the foot of a short stairway. Gwen was the first one to exit the elevator who was quickly followed by the elite guard, then Mystique and finally Galacta who held Jeffrey. The corridor was lined with lights embedded in the walls. The corridor had no decoration of any sort.

"<By the way, >" said Galacta speaking only to Gwen again. "<where did you get your hands on an Infinity stone? Can't hide stuff with someone that has access to cosmic awareness>"

'Later' thought Gwen not slowing her stride down the corridor.

"Why are you coming along with us?" asked Mystique to Galacta. The daughter of Galactus thumbed her nose at Mystique.

"You're not here to....um, devour Sakaar, are you?" asked the elite guard. It was at this point where the little group started to climb the stairway.

"Don't tempt me" replied Galacta with just a hint of annoyance in her voice.

The elite guard was the first to arrive at the door to the little private apartment of Grandmaster. The elite guard pushed what amounted to a doorbell. After a few moments of silence there was a response of "Enter" which might've come from a guard from within the room itself cause the voice didn't belong to Grandmaster.

The elite guard, Gwen, Mystique and Galacta all entered the room. Gwen saw that the Grandmaster and the Collector were seating in a long couch that overlooked the arena which was filled with cheering crowds, no doubt enjoying whatever match was going on far below. As Gwen started to walk towards the couch she saw that Xacandar was sitting on top of the couch. Gwen paused for just a moment in her stride before moving on. She had wondered what had happened to the ferret-like alien.

"You wanted to see me, boss?" asked Gwen as she rounded the couch and stood beside it. While Gwen was doing that she planted the listening device that Ratatoskr had given her on the armrest of the couch without anyone noticing. When the device made contact with the couch it matched the color of the couch almost immediately. The device was perfectly hidden unless someone took a closer look at the armrest.

"Is the champion allowed to be this causal to you?" asked Tivan to Grandmaster.

The Grandmaster ignored Tivan. "It sounds like you had quite the adventure today, my champion. Xacandar here tells me that you went off to see that curious group calling itself the Warbound that's conspiring against me. And, although Xacandar didn't see just where this group is headquartered, I can make an educated guess as to where they are. So, are you planning on joining this Warbound or are you going to make the wise decision and stay on the winning side?"

Gwen hesitated before answering. She spent a minute wondering on what to say.

"The Warbound might be few in number," said Gwen walking so that she was directly facing the Grandmaster. She gave a questioning look and motioned at the couch clearly asking for permission to sit down. The Grandmaster nodded and gestured at the empty spot next to him. Gwen sat down on the couch and momentarily looked down to see the match that was happening. A beat of silence followed before Gwen continued, "but they do have one hell of an ace in the hole"

"And I suppose you're not willing to tell me what that ace in the hole is?" asked Grandmaster.

"Wouldn't be my first choice, no" replied Gwen.

"Pity" said Grandmaster. "by the way, we have a lead on whole stole the infinity gauntlet from my dear brother here"

"Indeed?" asked Mystique who had walked forward so that she was right behind the couch.

. The Grandmaster glanced at Mystique and said, "I don't recognize you"

"I'm Tenselha" lied Mystique.

The Grandmaster studied Mystique for a long moment. "Your name does sound familiar"

Gwen snorted. "You don't even remember the names of your elite guards?"

"We're getting off topic here" said The Collector in an impatient tone. "Xacandar told us you know who the thieves are, o champion of the arena"

"Thieves?" asked Gwen.

The Collector tapped on the tablet in his hands and a hologram appeared in front of the couch. The hologram showed five identical women surrounding a glass case on a pedestal. Each of the five women all looked the same and they all looked just like Gwenpool. But Gwen only saw one Gwenpool earlier so where did the other Gwenpools come from?

"So," said Grandmaster. "do you know just where this Gwenpool is?"

"No," replied Gwen. Her voice was tense but under control. "I saw her, like maybe, twenty minutes ago? And she didn't have the gauntlet with her....and there was only one of her"

"Then where is the infinity gauntlet?" asked The Collector.

"I wonder...." mumbled Grandmaster. "if this Gwenpool stole the infinity gauntlet, then who stole it from her?"

"I guess this is the part where I come in" said a voice. Everyone in the room looked around to see that Gwenpool had somehow entered the apartment. Gwenpool was standing right beside Galacta.

"Yes, I stole the infinity gauntlet" said Gwenpool. "I didn't do it alone either; those other Gwenpools were all different versions of me. I stole the gauntlet to give myself the healing factor of Deadpool. I have the ultimate plot armor, bay-bee!"
