The feast begins

Kevin studied the woman in the black suit for a long silent moment. Just a minute ago the woman had suddenly appeared in the restaurant as if by magic. Kevin didn’t believe in magic but he had seen his fair share of weird stuff. The world was filled with superheroes that had extraordinary abilities. A woman just suddenly appearing in a restaurant from a portal didn’t sound that farfetched. No doubt the woman in black was one of those people that were labeled as heroes. Right? Kevin couldn’t even imagine what would bring a criminal to a restaurant other than a meal. The restaurant had artwork on the walls but none of them were all that valuable. In fact, some of the paintings were eyesores; a bunch of colored spattered spots counted as art nowadays. There was cash in the registers but certainly not enough to attract robbers. So, Kevin wasn’t all that worried about the woman being a burglar. Even if she was a burglar, based on the way she was dressed, perhaps all she wanted was a meal.
The outfit the woman wore wasn’t all black. It had white frilly tufts that greatly resembled fur. The outfit allowed the woman's breasts to be partially exposed. The breasts in question were modest and perky. Kevin had never seen this woman before he was sure.
“What are you lookin' at, handsome?” asked the woman in black.
Kevin had his eyes on the woman’s chest when he was asked the question. It took Kevin a moment to quickly advert his eyes. This seemed to make the woman laugh. Kevin cleared his throat and took another moment to gain back his composure. He then asked, “What did you mean when you said you wanted everything? Were you talking about jewelry or food?”
The woman in black gave Kevin an amused look. She looked at Kevin up and down. Before the woman had a chance to reply someone pushed Kevin from the back. The push sent Kevin several feet sideways from the booth the woman sat at. Kevin was able to keep his balance and looked at who had pushed him away from the booth. The person who had pushed Kevin away was a lanky man with dirty blond hair and was wearing a sleeveless shirt and jeans. The hairstyle looked more like what a woman would have and the look kind of worked. The man had a single hoop earring.
“Excuse me,” said Kevin to the man that had pushed him. “we were talking “
“A honey like that ain’t interested in someone like you “ said the man. The voice was that of a man along with the clothes.
The woman in black studied the newcomer and said, “Meaning that I should be interested in you? You smell like a sewer”
“What was that?! “ barked the man as he made to grab the woman in black. The woman smirked before suddenly lunging at the man. Whatever happened next went too fast for Kevin to keep track of. In the blink of an eye the woman had the man's head in her mouth. The woman swallowed the head in short order and the man's shoulders were in her mouth. Kevin just stood there and watched in horror and arousal. Wait. Arousal? That didn’t make any sense at all. One didn’t get turned on by watching someone else being swallowed alive. Kevin tried to run but his legs refused to obey. Kevin tried with all of his willpower to move, to flee from the sight before him. Kevin was simply rooted to the spot as he watched the man's torso vanish into the woman’s throat.
“Little help?” asked the woman, her voice muffled by what was slipping between her jaws.
“Uh, sure” Kevin heard himself say and rushed to help the woman swallow the man. He hadn’t meant to go even closer to the woman that was eating a patron but he somehow couldn’t help himself. He actually wanted to witness the woman keep swallowing the man down. Kevin stepped in and lifted the man's both feet off the floor as the woman tilted her head upwards. It was the combination of Kevin's help along with gravity that the woman finished swallowing the man.
Kevin took a step backward from the booth as the woman rubbed her bloated middle. The woman even looked sexier with a bigger stomach. Kevin stood there, waiting. What Kevin was waiting for he couldn’t have said. All that Kevin knew was that he had been mesmerized by what he just saw. Maybe he was waiting to see this woman swallow someone else. Maybe he wanted to disappear down the woman’s throat.
“You’re a brave one” said the woman in black.
“How….why….did you do that? “ sputtered Kevin. He could hardly keep himself from stammering. It was a minor miracle that he had managed to speak at all.
“Why? Because I was hungry “ laughed the woman. She actually laughed after eating a fellow human being. What was wrong with her?
She continued, “As to how I did it...” Here, she lifted her left hand up so that Kevin saw the gauntlet on it. Up until that moment Kevin hadn’t paid any attention to the gauntlet the woman wore. The gauntlet had six gems on it. “with this gauntlet reality can be whatever I want it to be”
“Oh?” asked Kevin. “Just how can a gauntlet do that? “
The woman smiled as she pointed the gauntlet right at Kevin for a heartbeat before winking at him and proceeded to point the gauntlet towards the entrance of the restaurant. The entrance was currently devoid of people going out or coming in. All that stood near the entrance was a bored greeter by the name of Tommy who stood behind a small counter that held a cash register.
The entrance to the restaurant consisted of two wide glass doors with a small antechamber before the main doors that led outside.
Kevin noticed a red gem on the gauntlet began to glow. Kevin turned to face in the direction the gauntlet was pointing and gasped at what he saw. He saw the entrance clear as day. In the very next instant, the two doors that served as the entrance\exit to the restaurant vanished to be replaced by a blank wall that had the same wallpaper as the rest of the restaurant. There was absolutely no trace there was an entrance at the spot.
Kevin turned back to the woman with wide eyes and said, “You did do that, didn’t you? “
The woman nodded. “Wanna see another trick?”
Without waiting for a response, the woman slapped the booth with the gauntlet. The same red gem glowed as it did before and, suddenly, the table (and all the items that were on the table) turned into bubbles that floated up to the ceiling and popped. Kevin just stared with mouth agape as he watched the woman held up a hand and, this time, a green gem on the gauntlet glowed. The woman turned her left hand in a counterclockwise direction as if turning back the hands of a clock. In the next moment, time suddenly reversed itself so that the bubbles from before floated back down from the ceiling and the table reformed itself along with all the fixings.
Kevin whistled. “And you did all that with that little trinket there? “
The woman chuckled and said, “This is no mere trinket my handsome waiter. But enough magic tricks. I’m here to eat and you’re going to provide all the food you have in the back while I take care of the buffet”
Kevin was going to protest but thought better of it. Kevin wasn’t going to argue with someone that had extraordinary powers and ate a patron.
“As long as I’m not on the menu, ma’am” said Kevin with a nervous laugh.
The woman burst out laughing. “I’m nowhere near old enough to go by ma'am. You can call me Felicia. Now, hurry along and bring me all the food in the back before I change my mind about eating you”
“Er, right “ stammered Kevin before turning and headed for the kitchen.
“And don’t bother coming back until you have all of the food with you” called Felicia. It was unclear if Kevin heard that as he entered the kitchen.
Felicia climbed to her feet and walked towards the long buffet table. There were actually three long buffet tables that had an assortment of food in trays.
“Time for a feast fit for a goddess” said Felicia before digging into a tray of rigatoni. She didn’t even bother getting herself a plate; she ate directly from the tray. It didn’t take long for the patrons of the restaurant to notice Felicia eating with what only can be described as wild abandon at the buffet table. A female waiter came right up to Felicia and tried to stop her but the unfortunate waiter ended up as food as Felicia quickly swallowed her down. Naturally this caused quite a panic in the restaurant as people started running for the exit only to find the exit was no longer there.
"Just calm down, people" said Felicia as she paused in her eating. "I promise I'll make it quick and painless"
