His heart stopped a second when the door creaked open to reveal the beautiful young face of Maya. He breathed a sigh of relief and kept his composure. She had only barely cracked the door open only to reveal her face and nothing else.
"H-hi!" He stuttered, trying to think fast about what to tell her next.
"Uh... Hello.." Said Maya in a very shy and quiet demeanor.
Unfortunately James was unsure where to bring the conversation, he knew next to nothing about her and his mothers incessant harassing makes his social skills extremely impractical. As silence reigned for quite a few seconds between the two who simply stared at one another, both James and Maya started getting nervous but she, being the eternal recluse, started closing the door, which made James panic, so he simple blurted out:
"I've seen you stare at me a lot before." Immediately regretting saying that, both of their faces turned bright red, but his could not match hers who felt like she had been caught red handed at some sort of crime.
Suddenly she spun hearing a sound which she had hoped not to hear at all and he recognized the cry of his mother, shouting asking who was at the door. Thus Maya looked at him and with terrified eyes whispered for him to transform.:
"But into what?!" Whispered with some panic the nervous boy.
