Hana almost seemed like a different person, counting down the days to Alex's visit. Their Moms had spoken, agreements had been made, and as long as things didn't get too rowdy, Alex was allowed to stay for dinner and a movie, while Hana had made her Mom promise not to snoop.

"Okay Hana-chan. But don't do anything I wouldn't." She'd said with a laugh and a wink. How fun, Hana chuckled to herself. A really vague rule that could easily be loopholed.

The stage had been set, the day was creeping closer, and she and Aiko were getting along better than ever. Their little 'meeting' from the other day had remained a secret, hopefully to remain so for the rest of time, and now their playtime was a much more vanilla affair, talking space politics between Buzz and Godzilla. The two most likely candidates, of course.

As for the toys themselves, it was business as usual. Jessie had seen more than her fair share of friends visiting. Every previous owner had it happen. But aside from that one time Andy brought a girlfriend over and things got weird, teen friend visits were pretty much uncharted territory. And what was life without learning opportunities? This was a chance to learn how teens played together!

Sure, there was every chance this one would get weird too, especially when this Alex looked so much like Jessie, but if she was going to pass over the playtime torch, as it were, she could at least be there with the others as a silent guardian of sorts. Because, like Woody had said one time, being a toy wasn't about how much you got played with. It was about being there for your kid when they need you. And as long as they were needed, they'd have a place and a purpose.

That purpose was reinforced when Godzilla was elected President of Space, beating out Buzz by 15% of the vote - Hamm refused to vote - but democracy had been served, and two sisters were enjoying life together. Frustrations behind her, new opportunities to look forward to, maybe even a girlfriend, Hana just looked a little brighter than she had done the past week or so.

Could Jessie have inspired this confidence boost in her? Simply looking like Alex and uh, giving Hana a taste of what it might be like to start a relationship... was that all it needed?

For a toy, there was nothing more she could ask. She could live the rest of her life on a dusty shelf and feel fulfilled now. She wouldn't want to, but having inspired a kid of hers to such new heights... that was the dream, wasn't it?

The day of Alex's visit started with a rainy grey soup, which did dampen spirits a little. Unless you were a flower, it was difficult to be happy in the rain after all. But aside from cementing her nickname as 'doll girl', Hana met up with Alex at the end of school. It was PE this time, where she watched her potential girlfriend take second place in dodgeball, and all the pleasant but unfortunate ripples that came with taking a hit to the chest. in any case though, there was a quiet tension as someone different was on the bus home. With her tartan skirt, bright blue hoodie, and braces glinting in the sun, she was all smiled as conversation scampered on obliviously. But it was Hana who was nervous, trembling like a wet chihuahua next to her.

"Hey. Why the nerves?" Alex smiled. "You've had people over before, right?"

"Not like this..." Hana mumbled. "You um, might become my girlfriend..."

Rain pattered against the window, and Alex just shot her a sad smile. "We'll see."

The school bus lurched to a stop, and a handful of kids dismounted, including Aiko.

"U-um," Hana cleared her throat, gently grasping for Alex's hand. She didn't take it. "A-lex? This is my little sister Aiko. She's heard a bit about you."

"She has?" Alex frowned, sounding more suspicious than happy. "Well aren't you a cutie?" She recovered, pulling Aiko into a hug. "Has your big sis been talking about me?"

"Mhmm!" Aiko gasped, buried in Alex's chest. "She said you were gonna be best friends and play together and stuff!"

"Are we?" Alex smirked, finally letting Aiko go. "We'll see how that plays out, Hannah."

And it wasn't the cheeriest of vibes as they rounded the corner to the Okazaki household. The rain had gotten worse, and showed no signs of stopping, but at least they were inside before long.

"Shoes off, please." Hana made sure to let Alex know before entering the house properly. Alex gave her a weird look, but did as she was asked, taking off her shoes on the porch.

"It's not uh, very Japanesey." Was her first comment. "Where's all the screen doors and samurai swords and stuff?"

"They um... aren't really a thing in America?" Hana said. "Me and Aiko were born here. It's Mom who's properly Japanese."

"No dad?"

"...not any more." Hana shook her head. "He uh, had an accident at work nine...? years ago. There's a little shrine for him over here if you wanna see something a little Japanese...y."

In the back corner of the sitting room there was a photo surrounded by a few candles. In it was a Japanese man, maybe in his early 30s, holding a tiny newborn with a shock of dark curls, while a toddler grasped onto his left hand.

"Dammmn," Alex's lip puckered in... appreciation? "Not bad, Hannah. Guess bein' cute runs in the family."

"Um. It's kinda rude to talk about the dead like that."

"You're not in Japan, Hannah. Said so yourself."

"I-it's rude here too, Alex."

"Fine, whatever," she put the photo down with a thunk, and Aiko dashed to stop it falling over. "So uh, what's the plan? Dinner and a show? What're we having?"

"Mhmm!" Hana brightened up a little. "Once Mom gets back from work we're having burgers and fries, a-and then-"

"Sloppy Joe?" Alex narrowed her eyes. "That's super normal, Hannah. No sushi?"

"W-well..." Hana mumbled. So much for the confidence boost. "S-sushi's not for everyone, a-and-"

"I don't like sushi!" Aiko piped up, and Alex gave her a disappointed look?

"...huh," her lip curled. "So much for visiting your Japanese friend. No sushi, no samurai swords..."

"Alex," Hana sighed. "We might be Japanese, but we're Japanese Americans. We can't just turn this place into mini Japan. That stuff's super expensive for one, and Mom moved here with the American dream in mind. We're born American, raised American, with a little Japanese history. A-and there's nothing wrong with that."

"O-of... course there isn't." Alex smiled. "So um... what now? When's your Mom home from work?"

"Couple hours. She's usually late on Thursdays." Hana reached for her hand. "Aiko? You'll be okay on your own for a bit, right?"

"Uhuh! Kitchen Calamity's on TV!" Aiko beamed, and sprawled herself out across the couch, fishing for the remote.

"Gotcha. We'll be upstairs if you need us, got it?"

"Got it." Aiko's eyes had already misted over, leaving her conveniently unavailable for a while.

"Follow me," Hana's eyebrows bounced, and the pair of them crept upstairs to her room. Alex's hand was constantly squirming out of her grip, but they didn't have to be holding hands all the way upstairs, did they?

"R-right," she gulped, swishing the curtains shut and flicking on a little lamp on the nightstand. "It's not much, but this is my room. S-sorry, it's kinda boring. I'm only really in here to study or sleep."

"Something else you wanna study today, hm?" Alex smirked, and Hana blushed furiously next to the bed. "...Is that manga I spy on the shelf?"

"Y-yes, actually!" Hana smiled. "It's called 'I'm a Little Magical Girl!' a-and it's all about a fairy who falls in love with a human, but-"

"See? You do have Japanesey stuff!" Alex flopped the comic around before stuffing it back into the wrong place on the shelf. "Distracts from all the uh, drawings at least. Little creepy, Hannah."

"...yeah, sorry." Hana looked down. "Sorry, I-I'm just so excited!"

"I'll bet," Alex rolled her eyes. "I see mini-me's here to watch us too?"

"She is?" Hana frowned, and indeed, Jessie was sat there on her desk, smiling as brightly as ever. "Huh. Aiko must've left her in here or something."

"Sure she did," Alex didn't sound convinced at all. "So uh, you wanted to mess around?"

"Um," Hana trembled again. "...maybe a little? If you're okay with that?"

"It is sorta why I'm here," Alex sat on the bed next to her. "If I can't have sushi I might as well try taco. Know what I'm sayin'?"

"Uhhh..." Hana whimpered, as Alex's hand ran along her thigh. "That's... moving a little quick, isn't it?"

"It's what you want though, right?" Alex's finger traced the denim of her jeans. Right along the crease, it crept inwards, meeting the the crotch. "Guess what Hannah? I'm not wearing any panties."

She crossed one thigh over the other, and Hana went red, pulling her upper half away from Alex. And yet the redhead wasn't perturbed.

"Wait," She deflated. "You're telling me you drew all those pictures, found a doll that looked just like me, and approached me in public, at school, to declare how you feel, and now it's too much? When I'm at your house, sitting in front of you?"

"Just... a little slower, okay?" Hana trembled. "M-m-maybe we can try kissing first, or talk about how we feel?"

"This is how I feel!" Alex cried, and pushed Hana over. Flat on her back, there wasn't much she could do to stop Alex climbing on top of her. Hips straddling her chest, she was pinned under the other girl, and could find little resistance as her legs flailed in every direction.

"Am I what you want, Hannah?" Alex's voice was empty. Passionless. "Because you're not convincing me right now! All that posturing the other day, and you don't even wanna touch me?"

Alex's hands clamped down, and a shrill squeak left Hana. Alex crept farther up Alex's body, the folds of her skirt trailing like some predatory snail.

"That's it Hannah. Get your tongue right in there." She grunted, as Hana writhed and struggled beneath her. "This cowgirl's gonna ride you, and we're done when I say we're done. You hear me?"

Pinned in place, Hana carried on thrashing against the weight of Alex. But with Alex on top, she just ground her body against Hana, and her muffled complaints were lost to Alex's middle, it seemed.

Jessie frowned, from her lonely place on the desk. This didn't seem like the happy ending her person was looking for. This wasn't the sort of thing girlfriends did, was it? She couldn't profess to knowing better, but she could've sworn that Hana didn't like what was going on. If someone was doing this to her, she'd do everything she could to make it stop.

But she couldn't do anything. She was just a toy. One that wasn't allowed to move when the people were around. Even if she could, she was tiny. There was no way she could get this monster off of her best friend.

But Hana kept struggling. This wasn't nice. This wasn't what friends did! This was bad!

Jessie bit her lip, watching her favourite human flail and writhe.

Rules were rules.

Hana's screams were muffled by Alex's thighs.

Rules were rules...!

Her lower half was flopping about like a fish, rattling the bedsprings beneath them.

Rules were rules!

"Ohh..." Jessie muttered to herself. "Y-y'all leave her alone!"

Her eyes bulged, and Alex stopped mid thrust. One leg sliding down the edge of the bed, she turned back to face Jessie, her face twisted in disgust. Meanwhile Hana's face was just about visible between her thighs, buried in a nest of dark crimson curls.

"What was that voice?"

Alex got off of Hana, and approached Jessie on the desk. Studying the area, she inspected every nook and cranny, peering right into the doll's static stare.

"...have you been recording this?"

Alex turned back around, and Hana recoiled at the sight of her face. "You filthy skank."

"I-I haven't! I promise!" Hana wept, scrambling back to the far corner of her bed. "I don't know what happened!"

"Well something told me to stop, which means something or someone knew what was happening." Alex snarled. "Do I have to tear this room apart to find out?"

"I don't know what happened, honest!" Hana sobbed.

"Yeah, sure. Either way, the whole school's gonna learn what a freak you are. You hear me?" Alex seethed.

"You want the whole school to know you're some filthy rapist?" Hana withdrew, her whole body compacted together.

"A rapist?" Alex smirked. "I just came over to experiment with a friend. You're the creep who was recording it all. Who they gonna believe, Doll girl? As for any evidence," She growled, seizing Jessie by the waist. "I'm gonna enjoy taking my time finding it."

"Don't you dare!" Hana gasped. "She's just a doll! She didn't do anything!"

"Oh really?" Alex huffed. "I remember her telling me to stop! That sounds like something!"

"I told you, I don't know how that happened!"

"Oh? Then let's experiment. Let's find out!" Alex sneered. Tugging at Jessie's limbs, she had no choice but to keep a straight face as the stuffing within her body was pulled tight. Seams were snagged, loosening, weakening, under her powerful grip, and it was only so long before a limb came loose.

There was a snag, and her left shoulder fell weak, as Alex's massive, sneering face inspected every fibre of her body. Her face a clammy puce as the storm outside roared, she tugged, pulled, and twisted.

"Oh? What's happened here?" She spread Jessie's legs apart, finding the mass of red fabric. "Sheesh, you love a red carpet so much you gave one to your precious dolly?"

"I just fixed her there! Leave her alone already!"

"Fixed? Or hid?" Alex challenged. A hand wrapped around each thigh, and she pulled. There was the ripping of cloth, the snapping of stitches, and the sobbing of Hana as her best friend was torn at the middle.

"Stop it!" Hana cried.

"Make me!" Alex challenged. "Or are you just gonna sit there and cry like a baby? Do you need this dolly? Or do you want her?"

Meanwhile Jessie was in incomparable pain. While she didn't have a real body, she could still feel every rip and strain as Alex slowly, purposefully tore her thighs apart. All the careful repairs Hana had made the other day, with love in every stitch, was quickly being undone, and her very soul was tearing apart from it all. And yet Hana sobbed in the corner, a dewy, ruined mess. Jessie couldn't blame her. That was a horrible thing for anyone to go through. And while this wasn't exactly the same, it still felt just as inhumane.

But what could she do? No one was about to walk in and save them, were they?

This was her story. And it wasn't about to end here. Not if she could help it.

"Y-you-" She broke the rules again, but her voice was drowned out.

"-leave her alone!" Hana broke into a run. Scrambling from the bed, she spear tackled Alex in the side, knocking them both to the floor. Now it was her turn to straddle Alex's chest, and she reached desperately for Jessie, seized tight in Alex's grip, but despite the advantage, the taller girl could keep her at bay.

"Oh, now you wanna fight?" Alex sneered. "Over a doll? Gimme a break Doll girl. Why do you care so much?"

"Because she's my friend!" Hana shoved her head into the ground, snatching at Jessie's top half. "I don't care if you don't understand! I've seen how you treat your friends!"

"You weren't my friend, Hannah. You're just a plaything. You're my toy."

"Not any more I'm not!" Hana tugged at Jessie, but resistance from Alex kept the doll held firm. "Now you let her go!"

And the tug of war began. Pinned under Hana's knees, Alex had weight and gravity to her advantage, but determination had Hana desperately ripping the doll from her grip. The problem was, her legs weren't coming with.

'Uh?' Jessie's eyes were wide, darting about as massive hands tore at her middle. Legs splayed in two different ways, and the fabric at her waist shredding apart, it was only so long before-

Rrrrrrip!

Hana fell backwards, smacking her head against the desk, while Alex's head hit the floor with a thud, and the pair of them were decorated in tiny, floating scraps of stuffing. Shaking herself conscious, Alex shoved Hana off of her, and dug into the bodiless pair of legs. More stuffing was scattered, emptied out of the half a doll, until a disgusted looking Alex threw it to the ground with a pitiful, empty flump.

"The fuck? Then where's the recording device? What's going on?"

"I told you Alex," Hana sobbed. Jessie's top half smiled innocently as it hanged limp in her hand, brought clumsily to her chest as she broke into tears. "I don't know."

"Yeah, well... you're a freak." Alex got to her feet. Standing over Hana, she fixed her skirt, and brushed stuffing from her clothes. "You were a fun ride for a while though. I'll let everyone at school know, don't you worry."

With a huff and a sneer, she made her exit, leaving Hana sobbing on the floor with half of Jessie in her hands.

Shuffling into the foetal position on the floor, she just hugged her broken friend. So much for a girlfriend, she sighed to herself. She should've known better than to take such a dumb leap.

"Umm... Hana?"

Hana snuffled, alerting to her name. But there was no one else in the room... was there?

"Are you okay, honey? Tell me you're okay."

Sitting up, Hana peeled her hands away from her chest to find half a Jessie smiling up at her. Her eyes were glazed over, but her face was... responsive?

"You're... alive?" Hana sobbed.

"Ain't for much longer, I fear." Jessie's voice was frail. "That girl quite literally knocked the stuffing outta me."

"Hey wait, what?!" Hana scrambled to her feet. Head throbbing where it hit the desk, the pain was just a trivial distraction right now. "What can I do? How do I help?"

"I ain't so sure you can, partner." Jessie chuckled. "Look at me. I'm scattered all over the place. But I guess that's what you do for someone you love. Am I right?"

"I-I'll fix you, don't worry!" Hana gasped. Head swimming from her headache, purple flashes biting at her vision, she stumbled around the room, gathering as much stuffing as she could. "J-just you hold on Jessie, I'll get you fixed!"

"Hey. Hey Hana hey." Jessie mumbled, lifting a tiny hand to touch her chin. "Don't you worry 'bout me. Worry about you. You're bleedin' real bad, Hana."

"I don't care!" Hana cried. "I'm not losing you, Jessie! I already lost one friend today!"

But as she stumbled, and as she flailed, gravity was getting away from her. Falling back into her wardrobe, her head took another thump, and her vision got darker.

"Jessie..." she mumbled, her joints falling away from her. "Jessie. Help Jessie."

Hana's eyes fell heavy, and the light of her room faded out as a door creaked open.
