From Cowgirl to Schoolgirl Putting the Toy in Story chapter 8 by TinyLesbo

Time at school proved just as boring as Jessie had expected. Sure, the novelty of going somewhere new was always fun, but once other kids had stopped snickering at her for having a 'stuffie' - that was a new one - it was just an average school day. Homeroom, then Math, then History... it was all very samey. Jessie got to learn a bit about horses in History though, where apparently native cowboys traded their horses with others. That alone made the day worth her while, and maybe she could have a chat about it with Woody later. But until then though, there was another half a day of school to go, and right now was recess, where the kids could meet up between lessons and unwind. It made sense, Jessie nodded to herself. Everyone needed a break, especially kids. Their brains could dry up from too much learnin', after all.

"H-hey there guys!" Hana put on a brave voice, emerging into golden mid-morning sunlight. Taking a seat on a wall of brick and squashing Jessie into her lap, they nevertheless held hands. "H-how are... how are you guys?"

From her static vision, Jessie could see four or five other kids. Both girls and boys, some looked sad for her, others were trying not to laugh. None of them looked particularly friendly though, even the other girl with the red hair like hers.

"If it isn't stuffie girl." One of the other girls smirked, to a chorus of laughs.

Jessie felt like her hand was going to snap, Hana was squeezing it so tight, but she kept on truckin'.

"Y-yeah," Hana mumbled. "She's kinda nice, huh?"

"Nice?!" A boy cackled. "She's so old! Where's she from, the 90s?"

"Yeah, where'd you get her, a yard sale?"

"Bet she read about that in a newspaper."

Several tweens spilled about in their laughter, and Hana was trembling at this point. Jessie could feel every tremor reverberating through her own body. Hana's hand, her legs, even her belly. Everything she own was pulled tight like a rubber band. Girl, she sobbed internally. Why're y'all putting yourself through this?

"C'mon guys, that's not nice." One of the girls spoke, and suddenly the tension evaporated from Hana's body, like someone had pulled out the cork. Her dark eyes looking up with hope, she looked around, and it was that red haired girl from earlier. Could this girl be the reason Hana was doing all this? The reason she liked Jessie so much in the first place?

With her long red hair woven back into a braid, a face full of freckles like infinite stars, and a skinny body clad in jeans and some words Jessie couldn't understand - 'The smoking pigeons?' - it was almost like looking in a mirror. She just needed a hat and a uniform.

"I-it's Hannah, right?" The girl said, kneeling down before her. Hana's thighs twitched at the sight of the girl before her, and there was tension in her belly as a hand rest upon her knee. "I think my mom knows your mom. She cleans at the hospital, right?"

"...mhmm." Hana's mouth was thin. Eyes enormous and watery, she looked like she was afraid to say anything, else regrets would spill out.

"...I knew it." The redheaded girl smiled. "It's not nice to make fun of poor people, guys. She's just trying her best!"

"You sure took your time callin' us out." One of the boys scoffed.

"Yeah, well I did." She poked her tongue out. "You shouldn't make fun of poor people, or Asian people, or-"

"-ginger people?" A girl smirked.

"Especially ginger people." The redheaded girl matched her energy. "Or anyone for that matter."

"You only care 'cus her stuffie looks like you, Alex." Another girl laughed, and the pieces all fell into place. This was definitely the Alex Hana had been making up stories about. Her face frozen, smile locked in place, Jessie couldn't have felt more awkward. After all, she knew exactly what Hana's plan was. And Hana was kneeling right in front of her, completely oblivious.

"Yeah, you don't care. You just wanna take her stuffie's place." The other boy cackled, and even the other girls looked affronted there. One of them punched him in the arm, and another shoved him.

"...you know what? Maybe I will." Alex smirked. "Watch out, Mini-me."

And suddenly Jessie was swallowed up by the shadow of another girl's butt. Round, denim-clad, slowly descending towards her, she felt Alex's jeans clip her hat before Hana could pull her out of there just in time, hanging limp in her right hand as Alex took a seat on Hana's lap.

"Therrrrre we go," she nestled in, shuffling left and right for a better seat. "Play with me, Hannah!" She bit her lip, with a squeaky mock voice.

"Aaaah...!" Hana mumbled, turning crimson.

"Right, now you put your arms around my waist like this..." Alex guided Hana's hands, where they overlapped in the middle and tugged at the thin shirt fabric. "Oh, hang on, I'll hold Jessie for you."

Jessie was gently tugged from Hana's clasping hand, and settled into Alex's lap instead. She could still feel Hana's fingers trembling behind her head, but a bizarre sensation washed over her. It was like she was sitting in her own lap, given how much this Alex looked like her.

"J...Jessie?" Hana mumbled from.

"Uh huh. That's the stuffie's name. Didn't you know?" Alex grinned. "Anyway, Jetpack! Go whooosh!"

"Whoo...sh!" Hana said, and the trembling in her hands only got worse. "...s-sorry, I did it wrong!"

"Nah, you're just fine, don't worry!" Alex laughed. "C'mon Hannah, lighten up. Have a bit of fun!"

"I'd say you're having too much fun." One of the girls grimaced. "What is going on here?"

"...jetpack." Alex said, as if it was the simplest thing ever. "Y'see, she's small, so she can't be the big spoon. So she's a jetpack."

"...right," the first girl frowned. "Kinda weird."

"Oh, it can get weirder!" Alex grinned, and got up off Hana. Barely remembering Jessie in her lap, she turned around, and instead straddled Hana's legs, holding her close. Jessie, in her infinite luck, just got sandwiched between the two, a pair of hands vaguely grasping at her while all manner of soft lumps ravaged her immobile body. The heat, the friction, the awkwardness... it was a lot to take.

"Welp, you're right there Alex. It could get weirder." One of the girls said. "You just... make out or whatever. I'm outta here."

One pair of shoes clapped across playground asphalt, followed by a couple of others, and then someone clearing their throat.

"...what?" One of the boys said. "I don't mind watchin'."

"Creep!" A girl cried, and he was audibly dragged away with the rest of them. After a few moments' silence, Alex let out a massive sigh, and tumbled down off of Hana. Face down in Hana's belly, Jessie could finally see daylight again as Hana made the effort to turn her around.

"Finally. Thought they'd never leave." Alex snickered. "...sorry if that was weird, Hannah. They were being kinda mean to you and I um, didn't like that."

"I-it was okay," Hana smiled softly. "You were actually the one I wanted to talk to..."

"I... thought so." Alex smirked. "The little me-shaped stuffie in your lap told me so."

Jessie gasped internally, and Hana matched her vibe. "She did?!"

Meanwhile Jessie was scandalised. She hadn't said anything! That was the rule! And she never broke the rules! It was against the rules to break the rules!

"...not literally Hana." Alex's head tipped forward, and both of them sighed with relief. "You've got an emotional support doll, who looks a lot like me. I-I ain't so smart, but I can put two and two together. S'five, right?"

After a moment's thought, Hana burst into wet sniffles. A heady laugh escaping Jessie's girl, it was the most normal she'd been all day. Maybe this Alex was right for her, after all? She covered for her, made her laugh, taught her Jessie's real name.

Maybe the fantasies weren't just that. Was there a love story to be told here?

"...was it that obvious?" Hana eventually mumbled.

"You could've stamped it to your forehead and it would've been less obvious." Alex grinned. "Hey, look." She grabbed Hana's spare hand, and suddenly the tension in her thighs was back. "Mayyyybe there's a better place to discuss this? Your house maybe?"

Hana gasped. "A...wha? You wanna come over?"

"Well yeah. Somewhere a little... private, am I right?" Alex said. There's things I ain't so sure on yet, but maybe you can... convince me. I'll ask my parents if you ask yours, okay?"

"U-umm...!" Hana trembled, her thumb and forefinger pinching Jessie's hand with all her might. "Okay! It's a date!"

"Whoooa, steady on cowgirl." Alex winked. "Let's uh, get the permission sorted first."

"O-of course," Hana smiled, and despite the leering and the laughing, all of a sudden she wasn't bothered. High as a kite, barely paying attention in class for the rest of the day, it turned out Hana had a plan after all. And despite everything, it sorta worked.

...just as long as her mom was okay with it, anyway. What mom didn't let a kid have a friend stay over, though? This one was a sure shot, surely!

Dangling happily from Hana's hand as the school day wrapped up, the sky was trembling with optimism, and Hana couldn't be happier.
