Ming gently pushed her giant finger against your minuscule head to “sush” you. She begins to stroke your back as she starts to speak.

“Relax my dear.” She says in a soothing tone. “I will explain everything. You see, I’ve always wanted to have a tiny man to call my own. That way I can keep you forever without the fear that you will leave me.”

Upon hearing this all you can do is just stare at her giant face in shock as she continues talking in her booming voice.

“You fit everything I want in a companion and I was tired of waiting due to this long distance relationship of ours. So I had you shrunk down and brought here so I could have you as my pet right away.”

“B-but” You stammer. “How did this happen? People just don’t shrink and end up on the other side of the world!”

“Well, since there’s no way you can escape I will tell you.” Ming says smiling at you. “My mom’s best friend is a scientist that works for the military who has been working on a prototype that can shrink and teleport people. Of course, it’s meant to be used on enemy troops but she needed to test it. So, I had the idea to her how I wished my boyfriend in the United States could be my tiny pet and she agreed to test it on you and teleport you here as a test subject. Apparently she ran tests on you while you were passed out. But don’t worry, they were harmless, they were just to make sure you weren’t hurt in the process and that the effects are permanent. Anyways, after the tests were done she said I could keep you but she left you on the side of the parade route for me to snatch you up so it would look like she had no part in it.”

You couldn’t believe what you just heard. You sit in Ming’s palm dumbfounded as she continues to pet you.
