Twenty minutes and an Uber ride later, the girls are walking through the crowded streets of the city. You’re huddled down in Brittney’s pocket, only risking the occasional peek out like a gopher. As annoying as the giant pair are, you’d rather not take the long tumble onto the sidewalk below and get separated from them. Things get quieter and you notice a change in the light when they finally reach their destination.

“Hi! Welcome Les Fleurs!” A distant worker greets Bri and Brittney (and you unknowingly.)

You push up through the flap to get a look at the store. It’s clearly a high-end place, more luxurious than anywhere you’d ever been. They seemed to carry everything from elegant formal clothes to casual wear and even more sporty stuff. Toward the back you see lingerie and various kinds of swimsuits.

“Ooh, Bri! Look at this top!” Brittney says, jolting to the left. You roll your eyes as they begin to dart from one rack to another. The store is practically empty but you tuck back down into Brittney’s pocket, disinterested in watching them shop. In the darkness and silky warmth of the fabric, you find yourself dozing off.

The sound of a door opening and closing makes you snap back awake. Are they finally leaving? You poke your head out to find yourself and Brittney enclosed inside a closet-sized space; A fitting-room. The behemoth redhead is sifting through a mountain of clothes when she notices you peeking out of the pocket.

“Hey, lil guy! I almost forgot about you!” She reaches down and playfully pets your head. “So listen, me and Bri are gonna try some stuff on- Bri’s next door.”

“Heeeey!” You hear Bri sing through the wall.

Your perspective shifts as Brittney takes off her coat, hanging it on the opposite wall. “Anyway, you can chill here while I get changed.” You watch her pick out a pair of jeans from the pile before her pinky appears to push you down into the pocket. She giggles as she snaps the button shut. “No peeking!”
