This is Swai, the admin/developer/do-everything-er here. 

 

I wanted to talk briefly about the site, and discuss some proposed changes. Think of this as a "request for comments" - if you have opinions about any of this, please comment below.

 

This is an experimental way of communicating with folks. The current site news page doesn't allow for discussion, nor is it for proposed changes, so I thought I'd try this.

 

 

Growing the Site

Just as a reminder, I wanted to say that, hey - this site is really small!!! 

Unlike other writing sites, we don't have a large readership. So if you want people to read a story here, please share it. Sharing content on social media helps us a ton, it's honestly more important than donations or anything like that. Just talking about us helps us out. I suck at marketing, so thanks ♡

 

 

Donations/Hosting

We violate the ToS of every major donation site, because we host relatively "extreme" adult content. It's a bummer, but we can't take donations via the usual platforms. Crypto is a no-go.

 

I'm fine with this. I'm able to pay for all the hosting costs, and there won't be ads here as long as that's true. This isn't a problem for the foreseeable future.

 

 

Tag changes

Note: I'm probably not going do to this any time soon, as it's complicated and maybe not worth the effort for now. I'm considering other options here, such as allowing tags to have synonyms, or implementing "canonical tags" like Ao3. In any case, I don't think this is a priority for now, unless people complain :)

We have many tags that are duplicates of each other. For example, “huge breasts” and “huge boobs” mean the same thing. In that case, it would be better if stories were tagged with only "huge boobs" for better discoverability.

So I'm proposing the following:

 

• In tags, the following words will be replaced:
  • Breast, Tit, etc → Boob
  • Penis, Dick, etc → Dick
  • Butt, Arse, etc → Ass
• Any tag containing a word on the left will be replaced with the word on the right. For example, "breast smother" will become "boob smother".
• "Boob", "Dick", and "Ass" were chosen because they are the most used terms for sexual contexts, in my opinion. This is a very subjective call, and I'm open to hearing other opinions.
• Let me know if there are other duplicate tags that need to be merged.
• I can set up a system where duplicate tags are replaced once a day. Some websites have automatic tag replacement as you type, but I don't have time for that  (´∀｀；)

 

This is a tricky and subjective decision, but it's important that we standardize on tags, where possible, for better discoverability.

 

Sidenote: sometimes, words in tags can't be replaced wholesale. "Breast milk" can't be replaced by "boob milk" because it's just not the correct term. We'll have to take it on a case-by-case basis. 

 

 

Gender Changes

Note: This is already done.

 

As long as we've been around, we've had two categories for each gender. For example, we have "F" for female and "f" for micro female. This was meant to cater specifically to size fetish stories. This has a few problems:

 

• This site isn't specifically for size fetish stories, so having a distinction like this baked into the site is discouraging/confusing to people who aren't into the genre.
• It makes it hard to search for stories. If you want to search for content involving a certain gender, there are two different gender categories the author might have applied. 
• It's not a gender distinction! "F" and "f" are the same gender! It doesn't make any sense!!

This distinction really should have just been a tag. So I'm proposing the following:

 

• Remove all micro genders. "f", "m", "nb", "q", etc.
• Any story/chapter with a micro gender category will have its category replaced with the normal counterpart. A story with "m" will instead have "M", etc.
• Any story/chapter with a micro gender category will also receive the "size difference" tag, as well as the tag "smaller X", where X is "male", "female", etc., according to whatever the original tag was.
