world building: 

giantesses usually are raised to see shrinks as food, some however use them as sex toys or keep them as slaves/pets… a very small amount are actually empathetic. Shrinks can either be shrunk by the virus, or born with the disease. It’s not spread through the air or bodily fluid, the only way to get the virus is if you’re born with it, you just don’t know what age it will strike. 

For every giant in the world there is about ten shrinks.
