He then got a text on his phone from someone important that replied with the message. "Call me when you get the chance." Sakurai already knew who that was and is prepared to answer. But before he does that, he turns to Rei and replies. "Why not you go and get your thinks while I make this phone call?"
"Yes father." Rei said just as she goes back inside to pack her things. The call that Sakurai got is from General Havoc Madlock, the U.S general and friend of his. Sakurai and Havoc have alot in common with wanting to use the Kaiju Girls for war purposes and security over the carefree lifestyles of certain others. He didn't want Rei around when he made the call so he sent her to pack her stuff.
"Yes Havoc my friend, I got your call." Sakurai replied to him on his usual business voice.
"So you found a girl to adopt. Nice and happy for you " Havoc said to him just as he gets down to business. "Looking through her file, she looks like a perfect girl to select for this new project we are developing for the U.S. division. Yes we have Koyukizilla, but Mrs. S and Shea doesn't want me anywhere near it, along with her partners. I assume you have problems with Haruka herself."
"Yes, I am. Surprisingly both Tanaka and her parents are protective of her, well the former has a similar purpose to my job yet he is trying to either destroy her or use her for weapons more slowly than I am trying to do. If I can't have her, perhaps I will make a girl who is her equal. I think she is perfect " Sakurai added just before he ends the call.
"Well good for you. I look forward to working with her soon. You and her will meet me in the secret B.L.A.C.K. site on the remote island just a few hundred miles from Hawaii soon to start us. The challenge is now convincing her. I know you will not give up anyone you just adopted."
"I don't plan to, as I felt sad for her, but let's me do the convincing. I think I can make it work."
Sakurai then got off the phone just as Rei comes out with her bags packed and she and Sakurai went into the link waiting outside. They were various secret agent like security waiting for them and they open the doors for him. Rei somehow finds this suspicious as normally people who get adopted it would just be a simple car and such, so maybe he is rich.
Both of them got into the limo and the limo driver starts the engine and drives away onto the road. Sakurai then turns to Rei with a smile, and wanted to ask her some questions.
"So Rei, ever heard of Harukazilla?" He asked.
"Well yes, I have. Everyone talks about her and such. To me, I feel like she is a waste of potential if you ask me. Having all that size and power and then not using it for good reasons. Just being an overblown celebrity who can do whatever she wants with consequences." Rei said with a sputter of annoyance.
"Well that is what I feel of her to. I am surprised you think of her that way. Everyone I meet loves her one way or another. But here is why I asked, I am curious to know... You know how it feels like to lose everything and such. How that killer killed your parents and you barely survived, became an orphan, and such. I know how it is like to lose everything. I am much like you. Many years ago I lost my parents to war violence, and all my friends." Sakurai replied to her just as Rei listens. Rei actually agrees.
"So you know what is like. Well I will admit a thing I do like about Haruka. I will admit the size and power of her in the right hands, it could be something great to have."
"Well that is why I adopted you. Your past and such is perfect for our "Project" we are working on. I want to offer you the chance to become a giant monster just like her." Sakurai then said to her. "The power to become a god like her. I have the means to do it. All you gotta do is to accept. There is no consequences for declining, but I have a feeling you will accept."
Rei is now conflicted on the decision if she wants to be a giant monster like Haruka. Will she become one?
