General Tanaka could have second thoughts on the matter however. Maybe he does end up liking the idea of having another monster some how. He could believe that if he is able to control another monster just like Haruka, perhaps this could be a success that he is looking forward. He then remember how he attempted to try that with the giant robot version of Haruka himself, before she easily destroyed it without any effort. Then it dawn on him.
Maybe Junko and Sakurai does have a point on the matter. Perhaps if they are able to make a monster just like her, and control it, perhaps there is a chance that they can ensure the security of their country and its people. He detests using monsters, but perhaps it is possible that they have a point. Haruka is nearly invincible to all human weapons, but perhaps the only weapon to defeat her is to make a giant just like her. Actually, come to think of it, maybe she is right, and Tanaka was just beating himself over the head that he didn’t want this at all, and really it was the solution all along.
He can now imagine the picture of his giantess that he creates, easily stopping terrorists and keeping the people safe without any issue at all, and with the important fact of immortality. it would be a weapon that is truly remarkable. The question is, does he come through with accepting this reality, or does he try to stop Junko somehow. Does he like it well, or just begrudgingly. It can be out of control, it could be perfect.
