Even though Junko had calmed down a great deal since her last meeting with Sakurai and Tanaka, she still felt enraged at the ladder's accusation. Yoshiko resisted her. Ha! Yoshiko didn't resister her, she couldn't, she'd simply given the girl free reign to do as she pleased for a while.
There was no way she'd made a mistake. The cyberization process was flawless, much like herself, and she was going to prove it when she turned Haruka into a YAGYU 2.0. Oh, how she was going to enjoy rubbing that cyclops' big fat nose in it. Sakurai might even promote again.
"Enjoy your little victory while you can Tanaka. In the end I'm going to be the only one to truly get what they want." Junko whispered from her desk. She was all alone now; her other lab assistants having gone to the cafeteria for lunch. She didn't want to eat with them, they were far too beneath her.
As she began typing up her report for the day before the cyberization process began, her computer screen suddenly went dark, followed by all the lights in her lab.
"Are you serious? A power outage now!?" she raged. It was then the red emergency lights came alive, signaling that something was indeed wrong. "What-"
Her words were interrupted by the alarm system kicking in. If the alarms were going off then this wasn't some kind of drill. Were they under attack right now? What was happening?
She was answered by a roar. A roar that carried a weight and power stronger than anything she had ever known. It shattered all the glass in her laboratory and nearly made her ears pop. It actually scared her a little.
What kind of unholy abomination could produce a sound on par with Godzilla in the intimidation department? It was then Junko's eyes widened as the answer became oh so very clear.
Yoshiko was still in sleep mode so that only left one other creature in this facility. But could such a terrifying sound really come from... "Haruka?"
BANG!
