Two hours...
It was almost hard to believe that in a mere two hours, the world would never be the same again. Warfare would never be the same again.
In just two hours, Hanta Sakurai would be able to etch his name into history as the driving force behind the greatest weapon to ever be developed in the 21st century.
Haruka would be the final piece he needed to ensure his reign over the new Japanese empire he always envisioned in his dreams. It took over twenty-years, but he was finally going to do it.
"I'm finally going to reign over this land as the Emperor I always knew I was." he murmured to himself as he sat in down in his makeshift office. It was a small space with an old computer from the early 2000s. Miraculously, the old thing still worked.
Since there wasn't anything else the man could do in the meantime, and both Junko and Tanaka were occupied, he passed the time the only way he knew how... a tense game of solitaire.
"Yes... I win again! As if there was ever any doubt that I would. I always win in the end." Sakurai boasted to no one but himself. He was about to start another game when...
*BANG!*
Sakurai found himself and his monitor crashing to the floor as the room his was in shook. He felt his entire being shake. rattle and roll to the point that he actually felt sick. Was this some kind of earthquake.
The shaking stopped... and the power died. The emergency warning lights came on and the alarm blared. Sakurai didn't know what was going on, but he knew for certain he didn't like it.
"What in the seven hells is going on around here?" he growled. He was about to reach for his phone until he heard something that made his blood run cold.
A roar...
A monstrous roar that shook his spirt and rattled his bones. He'd never heard something so frightening and unhuman in all his years on earth.
"What...?"
He quickly put two-and-two together and paled.
"Oh no."
