The general seems conflicted, and wanted to take out Haruka, but doesn’t know if she wants to, but his distrust for Junko is becoming even more apparent than ever. She was now experimenting and trying to crack the cold to Haruka’s DNA that she somehow managed to obtain, and wondered what she intends to do with the DNA sample when the time comes. Is it possible that she might use it herself to become a giant, or maybe something else entirely. The way that Junko acts sometimes seems like she wants to do something vile and evil, and the general wasn’t gonna to have it.
He went to his briefing room and immediately contacted his superior Sakurai at the first chance he got. Tanaka wanted to hear his opinion on something on the matter. The video call shows Sakurai somewhere out of the country and he look at the general who contacted him.
“Well hello there general Tanaka, how is the project coming along this time?”
“Well whatever project she is doing, I am assuming she is doing well. She gave me the incredibly embarrassing job to befriend the giant monster girl Haruka as she got a sample of her DNA that she is trying to crack. I can show you the proof in a bit, but let me ask you this, do you really trust the idea of someone with a sample that can turn themselves into a giant at their own will if they wanted to. I mean I liked what the Americans did with their project, but I don’t know if we should go this route.” Tanaka complained with a grunt, in which Sakurai can only reply with a bit of a smile, knowing he mentioned something useful.
“Well, I will admit the U.S. project is impressive, and I get your opinion on the matter of having to trust a girl like her, but you got to realize that this is a very serious problem, if we can’t find a way to either control the girl or terminate her, then we could be in danger. But... I kinda figured you would attempt this.”
Tanaka then replied surprised, and in anger. “What, how did you know. I would attempt this?”
“Because I was keeping in touch with them throughout this entire thing.” The woman named Junko said, appearing with the sample in her hand. “I am still currently working on this, but I can assure you, I have good faith in the project I am making will surely either control or defeat her. Besides, I been having him befriend her a bit in order to get info on why the people love her so much. She might be a klutz, but she may be good, but we all know that we have to deal wit her. And besides, I will tell you know what we are going to use this sample to make a kaiju of our own. Think of it like this... if we can’t defeat Haruka normally, maybe a kaiju like her can.”
“Interesting... see Tanaka, maybe if you didn’t trust your trials all that much, maybe you could have found an idea that would work. I actually approve of this, and actually that is the issue of all of your failures. You try to do it normally with human tech, when in reality, we needed to find a way to use the DNA from Haruka in order to make a being that will be her equal. Besides the saying this, if man won’t kill god, then the devil will do it. Junko, I am very pleased with your report. Tanaka, trust her on this... and we will have not only the girl taken out, but also a monster we can use to ensure our nation’s safety. I must be going, see you soon.” Sakurai said before he closed the video call.
Tanaka was now completely furious, the idea of making a giant monster to face a giant monster. Not only the damages that would be unleashed on the city, but ruining his pride as a general to take it out by any means necessary with what they have. He wouldn’t attempt this at all. His attempt to rat out Junko failed, since she was a step ahead of him.
“I figure you try to rat me out, so I told him already an idea of this, and he liked it.”
“Well lucky you here... I hope you are happy with this. But mark my words, you won’t get far with your project, and when it fails, and it will, you will be sorry.” Tanaka snapped just before he left the office room in disgust. Junko had the upper hand, and now her plan to make a kaiju that can rival Haruka is now in action.
What happens now?
