Ethan's finger twitched, hovering over the button as if it were a detonator for a world-ending bomb. The green light on the Morphisizer pulsed with a steady rhythm, a silent countdown. He looked at Mr. Kim, the high school science teacher. The man was a walking stereotype of quiet competence, with a meticulously ironed polo shirt tucked into sensible khakis. He was standing on his porch, retrieving the mail with the kind of placid calm that could put a hurricane to sleep.
"Too easy," Ethan whispered, a wicked grin spreading across his face. "Too perfect."
With a final, decisive click, he pressed the button.
A low, resonant hum built from within the device, a sound that seemed to vibrate more in Ethan's skull than in the air. A concentrated beam of emerald light, invisible to the naked eye, shot from the Morphisizer's emitter. It shimmered across the street, a silent dagger of altered reality, and plunged directly into Mr. Kim's chest.
Mr. Kim didn't gasp. He didn't even flinch. For a moment, nothing happened. Then, the transformation began.
From Ethan's vantage point, it was a surreal, almost imperceptible shift. The fabric of Mr. Kim's polo shirt seemed to… tighten. Not just stretch, but actively shrink, the material pulling taut against his chest as the underlying muscles softened and the male pectoral line smoothed into a subtle, rounded curve. His shoulders narrowed, the broad, stooped posture giving way to a more delicate slope.
The khakis were next. They seemed to melt at the waist, the material gathering into a series of pleats before re-forming into a short, pleated skirt. Mr. Kim's hips, previously as unassuming as a suburban sidewalk, flared outward, stretching the fabric taut over a pair of newly plump curves. The change was so complete that the belt, once cinched tightly, now dangled uselessly as the waistline slimmed down dramatically.
Ethan's eyes widened, a frantic, gleeful energy coursing through him. He pressed his face closer to the glass, ignoring the smear of his own breath.
The most dramatic changes were still underway. Mr. Kim's thinning, gray-flecked hair seemed to thicken and grow at a dizzying rate, cascading over his shoulders in a glossy, dark cascade. His face, previously a canvas of mild-mannered wrinkles, became a series of soft, defined angles. His eyes, though still distant, seemed to grow larger, framed by thick, dark lashes. The straight line of his eyebrows arched into a delicate curve, and his lips, once thin and compressed, puffed out into a plump, rosy pout.
And then, there was the chest. The slight swell from before became a rapid, almost violent expansion. The material of the polo shirt, now a tight, form-fitting top, strained against the impossible growth. It was like watching a pair of melons inflate beneath the fabric, pushing outward and upward with a speed that defied logic. They settled into a generous C-cup, a pair of full, jiggly mounds that seemed to announce their presence with a triumphant bounce as the new girl shifted her weight.
The final change was a flourish. A sudden giggle, high and airy, escaped the newly feminized lips. Mr. Kim ran a hand through his now long, dark hair, a look of pure, unadulterated delight on his face. His khakis-turned-skirt seemed to shimmer into a more vibrant plaid. He reached down, picked up the mail he had dropped, and then, with a playful little skip, he twirled around. The new curves of his breasts bounced with the motion, drawing Ethan’s full attention.
He was stunning. His new face was a flawless oval, with a porcelain complexion and a pair of eyes that crinkled with mirth. His new body was a perfect hourglass, all soft curves and slender limbs. He looked no older than twenty-two, a pretty Asian coed with a bubbly new personality.
The humming from the Morphisizer died. Ethan leaned back from the window, his heart thumping against his ribs. He had done it. It worked. He'd turned Mr. Kim into… her.
His giddy excitement was quickly replaced by a sudden realization. He was still sitting on his front porch. And he didn't seem to have a clue.
