Just as you got everything all set up, a yell gets your attention and you three turn to face them, noticing it was a girl you guys knew.
"Hey, you guys going to the beach? If so, I was planning to go to the pool, but do you guys mind if I join you?"
...Celeste asks, both Lillian and Jen's brows knitting together as they were clearly not happy with the idea of them hanging out with your cousin, a sentiment you share with. However, knowing that if you and your friends decline her, Celeste would bitch to your mom and you'll have a new ass to be torn apart after her scolding. It wouldn't be surprising if Lillian would receive her own dish of punishment.
"I also talked to Aunt Mir about the pool trip," your cousin adds in, sealing your fate as you sigh loudly.
"Sorry," you apologizes as you turn to them and their tension deflates.
"One of these days, you have to turn her down," Lillian said, as Jen looks disappointed as she gets in before Lillian joins her.
Thankfully, you're seated with one of the two and not with Celeste.
...Monique asks, all three of you raising an eyebrow at her.
"My car broke down not too far from here and I promised my friends we would meet up at the beach. I'm lucky to have seen you guys and you just have to get me there. My friends will take me back," she explains, pointing at a car that was towed away at the last minute.
"I-I guess we can help you out," Jen said, though she wasn't sure what to think of her as her eyes jumps between you and her.
"Fuck it! What's one more going to do?" Lillian said, hopping into the car and it was the final push as everyone else piles in.
...Dulari asks, you immediately recognizing her.
"Yeah, Yamile's sister, right," you reply back, all three women glaring at you.
"How do you know of me?" She asks, her eyes narrowing at you and the other girls join her.
"Yamile, talks about you as the most mature one," you answer, Dulari's gaze softening, though Lillian and Jen's persist.
"Glad to know someone appreciates me for that trait. I just need a ride to my part-time job. It's on the beach and I have to deliver something there," she explains and a sigh exits Jen's mouth.
"We'll be happy to help, Dulari," Jen said and everyone gets in the car as Dulari promises to reward you guys.
