"Hey Em, who's your friend here?" A familiar voice said from the edge of the table.
"Who is this?" Lyra whispered to Emily.
"Hi Lily, this is Lyra, she's a friend of mine from out of town," Emily said introducing the two.
"How do you two know each other?" Lyra asked curiously.
"We have similar ambitions at school," Lily said slyly as she took a seat next to Emily.
"Oh?"
"We both like to give boys... A special treatment," Emily explained with a giggle.
'Would she make a good acolyte?' Lyra asked Emily Telepathically. Emily nodded at her with a smile.
"I love the matching hair," Lily said referring to the matching white stripes the girls had. "Is it a new trend or something?"
"It's there to show our pact," Lyra stated.
"Oh... Uh okay then," Lilly said in confusion.
"You should join us, Lilly, I think you'll like Lyra quite a bit," Emily said patting the seat of the booth.
'What is your greatest desire?' Lyra asked Lilly telepathically. Lilly tried to gasp but found herself frozen still, she answered in her head unable to speak aloud.
'I want people to do as I say,' she replied before she could ask 'what are you?'
'To you and your people, I was a God and I will be again. If you join as my acolyte I shall give you the power to command others with your voice alone.'
Lilly thought about it for a second, if this woman could speak to people telepathically she could probably follow through with her promise. 'Deal but I want to test it first,' Lilly replied. Lyra nodded as if giving the go-ahead, Lilly turned to Emily and said, "answer honestly, did Veronica actually ask Blaise out?"
"Yes," Emily said before she realized what was happening, "Wait no, what just happened she made me promise not to tell anyone," Emily blurted out in a panic.
"Too late now I know, this will be perfect to use to get his friends distracted when the break is over," Lilly said with a smirk.
"oh... Blaise is occupied at the moment," Emily said slyly going back to eating with a smile.
"Wait... What did you do?" Lilly asked with a grin.
'She shrank him down and threw him into my ass,' Lyra responded telepathically.
"What?! You can do that?" Lilly asked in shock, Emily nodded in response.
"Can I play with him?" Lilly asked with a devilish grin.
"Wait I still have plans for him," Emily interjected
"don't worry girls it's not a question of who gets him but who gets him first... Now, which of you can do a better job of finding me new acolytes and subjects?" Lyra responded to both of them.
...
Back at Ester's cabin, the girls were panicking trying to find you. They were so preoccupied searching for you in the woods that they didn't notice a portal opening in the sky or the ball of fire that came out of it and landed directly on the ruins where you found Lyra in. The massive ball of fire crashed into the earth but mysteriously didn't leave the slightest dent on the ground. Embers rushed forth in all directions but did not set the wilds ablaze as one might expect. From the embers emerged a massive red dragon, she was here on a mission.
