[Continuity note: This chapter follows the same path as choice 2 in the previous one]

Your sense of time stopped working for a moment as you were taking in the amazing sight, but something from within your conscious eventually managed to snap you back to reality and you shuddered, only realizing now that you had no idea how long you'd been staring at Lillian's and Jen's huge asses.

"Welcome back to Earth" Lillian said with her characteristic smug smile and just a touch of playfulness in her tone. You looked away in shame, this was the most blatant you'd ever been caught. Jen found your reaction cute and she wanted to giggle, but she saw your reaction too and tried hard not to make a sound to spare your feelings. Time felt as if it slowed down to a crawl, almost painfully so and it took you a few seconds to try and break the silence as a cooler sea breeze blew by.

"So, uh... did you get the drinks?" You said, lacking any other means of trying to get out of this deeply awkward moment.

"Yeah, we did" Lillian said and looked at Jen, who pulled a bottle of your favorite soda from her ample cleavage. Your eyes twitched as you tried not to fixate on the sight but you could almost feel the two girls' judgmental stares, making you shudder as you were already hearing them calling you names.
"Hey, Blaise..." Lillian spoke again and Jen paused, she was going to turn around ans walk to you to hand you the bottle "There's something I've been meaning to ask for a long time, might as well do it now"

"Huh?! Why the suddenly ominous question?" You asked, raising an eyebrow. Jen glanced at Lillian, herself feeling confused and mildly worried that she could try something drastic and unexpected as Lillian often had a penchant for being indeed unpredictable.

"Relax! It's not such a big deal!" Lillian laughed in her most nonchalant way as she usually did, but then her mood seemed to shift towards a more serious disposition "Listen, I've known this for a long time, Jen does too and Zuemy confirmed for us..." Both you and Jen only looked at Lillian with growing confusion in your faces but the larger Brazilian beauty simply kept speaking.
"Why do you try so hard to pretend you don't like girls' butts?"

"H-Huh?!" The shock you felt couldn't be compared to the one you felt earlier, your eyes would've popped out of their sockets if they weren't firmly attached to your head and you full-on flinched at that question. In fact, you didn't even process the full question itself until a couple seconds later, and once you did, you had a horrified look that Lillian would've gone and betrayed you this badly in front of Jen. This was totally uncalled for! And why the hell was Zuemy involved? You thought you could trust her...
"Lillian, what the hell..." You said in a low tone, this went beyond simple banter, it hurt for real. Even if you'd never told Lillian outright about your crush on Jen you knew she was smarter than this, how could she throw you under the bus so badly unprovoked?
"What did I ever do...? This... this was completely uncalled for"

Jen silently gasped at your reaction but Lillian appeared unfazed on the outside at least.

"I mean, I've always known you've looked at mine and Jen knows you look at hers too. I just asked Zuemy for an honest opinion from someone more observant than I am" Lillian explained but that only made you feel worse and even more shocked. You took a very deep breath and pinched the bridge of your nose, rubbing it a little as if trying to ease a pain that wasn't there.

"Okay, I get it. Just let me grab my stuff and I'll go" You said. It felt like not only you had been unjustly sentenced to death, the guillotine had already been released and it'd already inflicted its fatal blow.

Even if the "Bro Code" Jim and Pete often talked about was more of a joke, some of its principles made sense. And even when Lillian herself has always been clearly a girl, you thought it'd be common sense not to tattle on you with someone you were attracted to like this, though then again, as far as you knew, Lillian didn't officially know and this was just her usual blunt honesty. You regretted not telling her that you had a crush on Jen beforehand, if she was really your bestie, then she might've held her tongue with that knowledge.

You didn't even have the courage to look at Jen in the eye, the shame was too great. You didn't want to see her look of anger or disgust either, it would be best to remember the sweeter look she gave you before. You looked around and began to pick up your stuff since you'd be leaving before you first thought.

"What are you doing?" Asked Lillian, sounding genuinely confused for a change. Still standing next to her, Jen facepalmed.

"Didn't you just say you caught me creeping on you? I'm not that stupid, Lillian, I know how to take a hint..." You sighed again.
"I'll just go, no need to ruin your nice day at the beach" You then resumed picking up your stuff and the two girls had a nonverbal conversation behind your back.

'You really messed up this time' Jen conveyed with a quiet sigh and facepalming again, dragging her hand down on her face.

'What? That's not the reaction I expected, what the hell?' Lillian responded with a frown and some hand gestures. But she wasn't stupid either, it didn't take her long to see what Jen meant. 'Oh my god' She mouthed and then walked towards, you, grabbing you by the wrist.

"Okay, you can stop right there" Lillian said with a sigh of her own.

"What else do you want?" You asked dryly, stopping in your tracks the moment she grabbed you.

"God fucking dammit, Blaise! This is another thing I've wanted to talk about, but I meant that one for later in private" Lillian said. Jen looked around, feeling a bit like a third wheel and nonverbally offered to go away so you two could have a real talk, but Lillian shook her head.
"Of all possible conclusions to draw, how come you tend to go for the absolute worst?" Lillian groaned "Granted, it's not all the time, but it's often enough that it's a problem!"

"What does that have to do with anything?" You looked at Lillian in the eye with a look of sincere confusion.

"Everything! You just put words in my mouth, drew the wrong conclusion and right now you were just about to do something stupid" She said, calming herself down but clearly looking annoyed.

"To be fair, she never called you a creep or anything of the sort" Jen said, walking closer to you, feeling that as your friend she had to help clear this misunderstanding too.

"I mean, I can read between the lines, you didn't have to say it explicitly" You replied.

"But you read between the wrong lines" Lillian said, this time badly suppressing a chuckle "That was not what I said, nor what I meant, like, at all. That was a Jim-tier miss right there"

"Okay, come on. I'm not that stupid" You said.

"You're not, but that was still a huge miss" Lillian said "Blaise, I know you're not dumb so please, think for a moment... Do you really think Jen and I went through the trouble of getting these nice bikinis only to get mad at you for looking?"

"I mean, that kind of thing happens all the time these days" You answered somewhat awkwardly, scratching the back of your head.

"But have we ever pulled that kind of bullshit on you?" Lillian asked in her most deadpan tone and look yet.

"Okay, fair" You took another deep breath, this time in an attempt to lighten your mood. But as you mulled over what Lillian had just told you, one inconsistency became blatant in your mind "Wait a minute, what do you mean went through the trouble? That bikini is from like 7th grade!" Lillian couldn't help but giggle.

"Yeah, yeah, I know. But you know for a fact how difficult it is to get all this goodness into these two pieces of clothing" She said, doing a passing motion with one of her hands, emphasizing her lower curves.
"Anyway, I helped Jen pick out hers precisely for this Summer Vacation" She added. Jen gave Lillian a 'what the hell?!' look but Lillian gave her a look that told 'Relax, trust me on this one'

You felt like Lillian had given you one of those unsolvable or almost unsolvable riddles. There was an obvious answer but it felt like it was wrong, it was too easy and tooo optimistic. But as you wracked your brain trying to come up with any other solution that's not something negative, you gave up.
"So... you're saying you don't mind?"

Lillian and Jen looked at each other for a moment before the former responded.
"Close enough" She chuckled "But for the sake of having no more of these stupid misunderstandings, I'll spell it out for you: It's not just that we don't mind. We want you to look!" Lillian then looked at Jen, asking for her support. The well-endowed Scandinavian girl blushed quite a bit and hesitated for a moment but she nodded in agreement.

"Oh..." You were relieved that they weren't mad like you first thought, but this was just as embarrassing if not even more, putting you in an awkward spot.

"Well, with that out of the way I'll ask again: Why are you trying so hard to pretend you don't like what you like?" Lillian asked.

"Because I'm trying not to be a pervert? I mean it's common sense! It'd be very hypocritical of me to not know not to be a pervert when my best friend since forever is a girl and I grew up surrounded by women" You said, giving Lillian a bit of a deadpan look of your own.

"He's got a good point" Jen noted.

"Blaise, I dunno if you've ever realized but there is a difference between the look of a pervert and the look of natural attraction" Lillian said somewhat flatly "Then again, with friends like yours you may have never noticed"

"You're not a pervert for... you know, being attracted to girl's bodies. That's just normal" Jen said, struggling a bit with her own embarrassment but she had seen the direction that Lillian was trying to push you to.

"Yeah, under that logic we'd be both pervs for looking at you whenever you're not wearing a shirt" Lillian said with a giggle, but you were quick to realize that right now, you weren't wearing a shirt, as you had taken it off before you began setting things up but it was only after she pointed it out that you felt naked. Another awkward moment ensues...
