Meeting Miriam at the breakfast table
Lillian walked out of your room, closing the door as she left, and headed towards the outside of the house, for which she needed to go through the kitchen and the dining room, where Miriam, your mom, sat at, enjoying breakfast.

"Good morning Lillian" She warmly greeted her.

"Good morning!" Lillian cheerfully greeted her back, though she was hesitant, before, she used to call her auntie, like Sheila asked you to do for her, but as her feelings for you developed, she felt a little uncomfortable since she didn't want to become your cousin, even if it were just symbolically. Miriam, being as intuitive and wise as she always seemed to be, was quick to catch on to that.

"You know you can call me 'mom' too, right?" Miriam teased her before eating some omelette she had prepared herself. Lillian promptly blushed in response.
"I'm already getting used to the idea that you'll be my sweet daughter-in-law... Sheila loves the idea too!" She added, making the usually smug girl blush a deeper shade of red.

"So... I heard you gave Blaise his morning greeting already..." Miriam said with a knowing smile.

"Y-Yes... Sorry if that was a bit loud..." She rather timidly apologized, and Miriam ate some more of her omelette before she resumed speaking.

"But... you know... if you wanna stick my son back there and do that... the least you could do is buy him dinner first, don't you think?" Miriam teasingly laughed, and Lillian's blush stayed, but she regained some of her confidence after being caught off-guard at first.

"I'll buy him breakfast, lunch and dinner every day if that's what it takes" Lillian replied, with her confidence mostly recovered.

"That's the spirit!" Miriam laughed, delighted at her response
"Don't worry about breakfast today though... he already had it before you came to see him... and here's even some for you" She said, showing her that there was another plate with omelette.

Even though she had already had a pretty hearty breakfast, she was still a growing girl, and her body demanded more than a fair amount of nutrition to keep growing her outrageous curves and tall physique. Thus, she was happy to accept the free food, and hungrily began digging at it.

"Hmm... still... if you really want to be able to keep doing this, you're going to have to ask for his hand in marriage soon" Miriam teased again, to which Lillian almost choked, despite her half-expecting that. She poured herself a glass of milk to wash it down and then cleared her throat.

"I-I haven't even asked him out..." She stuttered despite her best attempts at looking as her usual confident self.

"You're sure taking your sweet time... aren't you worried that other girl is going to beat you to the punch?" Miriam asked in a more serious tone. Lillian tensed up a little and sighed.

"I know, I know... but I'm still his school guardian..."

"But you only have the rest of this year, and the senior year... for college, he'll have to decide, and if he's not your boyfriend by then you won't be able to take him with you" Miriam almost sounded more worried about that than Lillian herself.

"I... I'll surely sort these things out soon... he still needs to get used to... his seating arrangements" Lillian giggled at her own pun like before.

"You better do so, and soon..." Miriam advised. Lillian wondered if there was something she knew that she wasn't telling her.

"Where's Blaise's dad, by the way?" She innocently asked, noticing that, not counting herself, Miriam was alone at the breakfast table.

"In the same spot you're keeping his son" Miriam heartily laughed while Lillian couldn't help but blush a little.
"So, trust me on this one... he doesn't mind your condition as much as it may look like. Ask him out before it's too late" She whispered.

"I... I'll keep that in mind..." Lillian slowly nodded while blushing some more.

"Good" Miriam smiled, and the rest of the meal went rather uneventfully, with some small talk about school and stuff. Once Lillian finished her meal, she thanked Miriam and went to wash the dish and glass she had used.

"Don't worry about that. I'll do that myself. You better hurry up before you're late for school" Miriam said, and Lillian suddenly remembered she didn't have much spare time, so she waved goodbye and ran out of your house.
