Despite you being a fairly tall guy that didn't look so defenseless (though some certain bullies may disagree), your family still worried about your safety, so your mom not only told you about visiting your grandma but left you some cash to get a ride there. If you walked there it'd probably take about an hour. Besides, you couldn't say you were all that sold on walking that much on an empty stomach. So, you tapped the app on your phone to get a ride, going by car it was about half an hour with the usual traffic...
[Cut-off point for Choice 2]
After a fairly quiet, nice ride, you gave the driver a tip and got off the car, you'd just arrived to your grandma's house, which was quite peculiar compared to the other buildings around. For starters, rather than being made out of wood, it was largely made out of stone and concrete, something you'd learned was more in line to her homeland's customs. It was also why your own parents had theirs made of concrete too. Your grandma's house also boasted a fairly large yard, the back of it had become like a small piece of the Mexican jungle a long time ago.
Your mom's messages, besides telling you to go visit grandma Xóchitl, had also informed you that your grandpa had gone on yet one more of his hunting trips because he wanted to eat what he called "good meat that you can't buy at the supermarket" so you knew she'd be by herself. It was funny in a way, grandma Xóchitl was almost always doing something, and most of the times she refused your help, maybe a hint that she doesn't want to acknowledge her age despite looking way too good for it, but this often came with some kind of consequence, and if you were around, you'd likely end up paying part of the price for it...
Since she often was tending to her garden whenever she wasn't working at her flower shop, she'd given you a set of keys to her house to let yourself in. Given the lack of sounds coming from the house you assumed she was either sleeping or doing stuff in the backyard, with the latter being the most likely.
"Grandma?" You said as you opened the door to let her know about your presence, just in case, but there was only silence. You shrugged and looked around, then heading to your room... yes, your room. Against the usual expectations, your grandparents had 2 guest rooms built into their house in addition to theirs, but they'd determined to give you one of them since you were a child, telling you that whatever happened, or for any reason, you'd always have a home in theirs if you needed.
And as you visited frequently to semi-frequently, it turned out to be a neat arrangement for you, you even kept a few clothes to change for the times you'd have to stay over for more than a single day. Since your mom hadn't specified how long you were supposed to visit, and also knowing that it'd be up to grandma's plans or if you got any of your own, you had brought your school's backpack with a spare change of clothes and went into your room to leave it there before you headed for the backyard. Even when just standing inside your grandma's home, you could hear several birds singing, as they'd taken up residence in the trees and bushes she'd cultivated.
After opening the door to her backyard, you noticed two things, that the whole backyard was largely covered in shade as a result of the trees, which had grown even taller than last time you'd checked, and secondly, that the air felt naturally cooler. That had been something both of your grandparents had explained, that places with lots of plants had a cooler temperature and a bit more of a fresh breeze compared to what both of them dubbed "giant concrete planks", which was how they referred to the more heavily built areas of the city.
"Grandma?" You said again.
"Blaise! I didn't think you'd get there so fast!" She jovially responded "I'll be with you in a moment hun" She added, her voice sounded somewhat distant, which you found odd.
"What are you doing this time?" You asked with a slight chuckle.
"Nothing for you to worry about sweetheart, just hold on for a bit" She said. It sounded like she was struggling with something, so, despite what she'd just told you, you followed the sound of her voice. What you found next was both surprising and unsurprising in a way few would understand: There was your grandma, she'd climbed up one of her cacao trees, without a frickin' ladder! And she was pretty high in there, grabbing ripened pods before slowly climbing down.
You sighed but also suppressed more chuckling. Your mom often tried to tell her to be more careful with the things she did around the house, but grandma Xóchitl was still adamant that she wasn't a weak old lady yet. On that, she was a little bit like grandma Regina, which is probably why the two got along so well. But unlike her, Xóchitl didn't really lash out at anyone, it was more like a matter of personal pride but that pride wasn't easily hurt, but she still insisted that the day she was too old to do things hadn't come yet, and going by her looks, she might actually be right.
"You're gonna give me the lecture too, huh?" She suddenly asked. You no longer asked how she realized you were there since she had her back turned, that joke that moms had eyes on the nape of their necks may hold some truth.
"No, grandma" You said "But... uh, why didn't you at least use a ladder?" You asked with genuine concern.
"Oh please! Ladders are more dangerous than just climbing up the trees! I've done this since I was a little girl, you know?" She said with a giggle. You were honestly amazed, both of her hands were holding a large cacao pod each, and she was carefully climbing down, seemingly using her forearms and her legs to do so. Given her size and weight one wouldn't think she could pull these things off, but you'd already learned it was perfectly possible with Lillian, Sheila and Jordana as living proof.
"Just a little bit mor-oof!" What you expected/feared came to pass, your grandma's grip slipped and she fell, just when she was about a meter above ground level.
You saw that a sudden shadow covered you, growing larger with each passing moment as time seemed to slow down and since you had no time to run, the best you could do was try and catch her, but you also knew it'd be a largely futile effort. Since she fell backwards, her gigantic butt crashed down on you with meteoric force, slamming you to the ground, causing it to shake enough for some leaves to drop off from nearby trees, rattled by the impact.
This was an all-too-familiar occurrence to you, both of your grandmas, but Xóchitl in particular, tended to be rather clumsy, in stark contrast with their proficiency and professionalism, in Regina's case, at medical things as a former nurse, but also on police-related stuff as a former cop, while grandma Xóchitl still worked given that she had her own flower shop. But for some reason beyond reason and beyond your understanding, whenever they tripped over they often landed on top of you, and most of those times, you ended up finding yourself their large behinds, though grandma Xóchitl had also squashed you under her large belly a fair amount of times as well. And this was one of those times...
"Ugh..." You groaned, your face and body all the way down to almost the navel was squished between two enormous, marshmallowy surfaces, clad in what presumably were some comfy leggings but were stretched to their most absolute structural limit, attempting to contain the sheer mass that was grandma Xóchitl's butt, perhaps the closest contender to Dolores' in size, softness and weight.
"Sorry about that hun!" Xóchitl laughed, deeming it just a silly, harmless shenanigan "Thanks for catching me though! The pods are fine!" Unable to give her an answer, since your voice couldn't hope to go through all those pounds upon pounds of jiggly booty meat, you gave her a weak thumbs up. Fortunately for you, she was rather quick to get up and turned around to give you a hand, chuckling at the almost unnaturally large set of twin imprints her sizable behind left on the grassy ground.
"So... ladders are dangerous..." You said, a bit breathlessly since the huge impact of her oversized behind had knocked the wind out of you, but you also recovered fairly quickly.
"Oh hush! I've been getting these for you" She playfully shushed and wagged one of her fingers in a 'Don't even say it!' kind of way.
"Thanks grandma" You smiled "But doesn't it take like a week to make chocolate from those?"
"Yeah, but I've already made a bunch of chocolate tablets" She explained "This year has been really good, these trees keep giving and giving, almost as if Quetzalcóatl blessed them"
"With how tasty their chocolate is, the trees might as well be" You said, already imagining the delicious chocolate milk you could make with your grandma's homemade chocolate tablets. You knew that this might constitute a form of bribing since it got you to largely forget this latest squashing incident, but it was still a decent prize to pay for that sheer deliciousness.
"Well, let's go take this inside. You might wanna change clothes" She said, and you realized there had to be some soil and grass leaves on the back of them so you nodded. Good thing you had a spare change and more clothes in your room. Still, wanting to help, you took the pods from her hands and walked back into the house, to the kitchen.
In there, you could see that indeed your grandma had apparently been hard at work with her cacao trees, as there was a sizable stack of hexagonal chocolate tablets, homemade and handmade. You didn't know if it was the soil, the trees, or as both your mom and grandma claimed, the love poured into them, but that was the absolute best chocolate you'd ever tasted, it was so good you could probably eat the tablets alone even though they were intended to be dissolved into milk. A guilty pleasure you only indulged very sparingly, but your grandma had told you that both your mom and herself when she was a child also did that, no wonder where you got it from...
